Question about archives
I went to the epilogue, and it says "complete the level and earn your rewards" do you have to do all of the challenges to move onto the next one? Because I have like 5 left, but I decided to do a line to the epilogue so I could move onto the next one.

It works like this, you can skip ahead to the end of Tome l or you can finish the entire thing. You can take as long as you want to complete Tome l it's up to you.
Tome ll won't release until November 13, the same day the event ends. You can find the other release dates for Tome lll and Tome lV in the news section within the game itself (Load into the game, click news below on the main menu, than scroll down to The Archives part in the patch notes.)

I don't think so. Unless they changed it from the PTB, as long as you have "claimed" the epilogue, you've completed that Tome for the purposes of unlocking future ones.

Well it does say level 2 is "coming soon" but it says on the epilogue to complete the level and collect your rewards

For some reason, Behavior decided to put time-locks on each tome after the first one.

It was so people don't automatically finish the entire tome set and have nothing to use towards the next Rift. (That, and they'd have nothing to do afterwards until a completely new tome set is released.)
If you completed every tome than you'd have way more Rift Fragments than you'd need to complete The Rift... also, its to give them time to create more lore bits if they haven't already.

Didn't people do the math on that and even if you completed all challenges, you'd still be missing a good 340-ish Fragments?

For the first season? Well if it gave you about 20 tiers for the first tome, and there is 4, you'd have like 10 tiers left over I guess?
