it's not a playable game, I love to play Dead by daylight, but everyone now have this perk, BBQ and Chilli, the killers are super OP.

I want to give up this game that I love so much.

This is probably a good thing.

Anyone that asks for a nerfs is hindering the game.

We should nerf all Killers and their perks so Survivors don't have to learn how to play against them.

BBQ&C actually has a lot of counter play, hiding in lockers, running one way and walking in the other direction and being close to the hook after the killer hooks a survivor.

Or better yet: Apply a locater Perk to "We're gonna live forever." Just to even things out

It is normal for new players to think BBQ is strong. You will change your mind with time. It is a very normal perk. Either hide behinde the gen aura or hide in a locker. The 3rd option is be brave and expect the killer to come, look on sides where to run if he comes. The 3rd option is when you are acually decent at the game. There is one very frustrating combo currently with Freddy but that is another topic ...

The point of the perk is to be anti-tunnel, and to get the killer away from the hook. The best way to do this is to give the killer a big huge sign of where to go next. I think it does a great job at this.

The only change I would make (and I say this as a mostly a killer player), is to NOT give aura readings, or give different distance/duration when you do a death hook. If its the death hook, there is no one to tunnel, no one to camp, so the killer has to move on anyway.

I used to think the same about BBQ, then I bought leatherface and though "Now I'll be the one having an OP perk" but then when I hooked a survivor I barely turn the camera and the auras dissapears. And well the other counters that people talked about.

If BBQ didn't have a Bloodpoint incentive, I would replace it with something else (probably Discordance) on most killers. Nightmare and Hillbilly can capitalize on the auras pretty well, but for anyone else it's a vague indicator at best, since it gives survivors a lot of time to hightail it out. And, yeah, lockers completely counter it of course.

You have endless counters against BBQ why are you still complaining ??? just go in a locker and wait some seconds, hide behind gens, fake you direction, Some perks counter BBQ, etc. i mean this perk isn't that hard to play against.
