Insta heals
Can you guys change the insta heals back?? That's like the only good thing survivors have.

(keys), (toolboxes), (flashlights)
Just to name a few powerful ones.

Yeah, it was a really decisive strike to the survivors' arsenal of second chances. It'll be dead hard for survivors to come back from this. The survivors are practically living on borrowed time; I can feel the adrenaline pumping in my veins every time I get in a chase now.

I don't see why people complain about borrowed time and dead hard those perks are never gonna be changed

Because they allow survivors to get away with plays that would normally be suicidal. That alone seems like reason enough to hate them.
Although I'm mostly just trying to say that this nerf isn't that big a deal for survivors. If you want second chances, there's no shortage of second-chance perks.

It's rare for people to make perk puns that actually make sense and feel clever, rather than forced. Nice job. Have an upvote.

He just tried to show how little of a nerf that was. The purple insta is even nearly equal to pre-nerf.

So keys, toolboxes, medkits, DS, BT, Adrenaline, DH, BL aren't good things for you ?

I think we found someone who never touched killer.

Also you still can have a one use Dead Hard in your pocket

The purple one is better now, ur protected even be oneshot hits, the syringe is almost useless now

moris are fine ... insta heals arent.. brand new parts aren't ..etc till god know how many more examples
survivors always nerfed buddy.. welcome to dbd

They should not even be called insta heals anymore. We need to change the nickname to "normal heal without pressing the buttons and being locked in place" and "side graded MoM".

Agree on instas and bnp, but Moris arent neither, they ruin the fun, are a easy mode and they bring out bad experience, basically, downed, camped, farmed and moried, should work after 2 hooks

Survivors get nerfed because the game is, and always was, survivor sided, especially at the highest skill levels.
Take a look at some early gameplay of Dead By Daylight. There was no Bloodlust. Infinite loops were everywhere. If you brought Rank 1 survivors from today into the Dead By Daylight of 2016, they'd literally never lose.
Here's a good example video, to show what the game used to be like: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q1fkX3H84SE
But if you really think the game is truly balanced and the nerfs to insta-heals aren't justified, I encourage you to try playing Killer against a Rank 1 SWF, who all bring insta-heals, meta-perks, etc..
And by the way, nobody here said that mori's shouldn't be changed. In fact, I can't recall a single instance where anyone on this forum said that mori's are just fine the way they are. I personally think they could use some changes/nerfs; the way they are now, they just feel cheap to use, and often turn a challenging match into an unsatisfying pushover.

It's a little redundant to measure the state of the game with "survivors op, survivors up" when there are so many killers of so many different power levels. Against good survivors, I will agree that the majority of killers range from "barely able to keep up" to "why bother". Against a killer like Nurse, however, the balance shifts from "a good survivor team always wins" to "a good Nurse always wins".
TL;DR - Survivors aren't underpowered, survivors aren't overpowered, each killer needs buffs or nerfs depending on strength. The main issue in my eyes is survivor-sided map design, not survivors themselves.

If you want a game-breaking item, just use a key.

November 2019... Why did you necro this post?

With BHVR, there are no guarantees. Haven't seen a hint of change since I made that post almost half a year ago, and I don't expect to see it anytime soon.
