If moris got reworked I think this would be cool
What if moris had a struggle phase, where survivors could repeatedly press keys/buttons (like during 2nd phase hook) to escape but the key/button to press will change every few presses. If you miss the majority of the presses you die and the animation could vary based on how many missed. If you get the majority correct, the survivor stuns the killer and goes free.

yeah sure. im fine with that, so long as ebony moris get nerfed in some way. But then BHVR would have to change/make more animations which would take quite a while.
I would prefer if it just was made to be "you can kill survivors after 2nd hook."

2 things wrong with it"
1) This would make Mori's take wayyyyy too long to do.
2) No Killer would bring an item that both slows down their attempt to kill someone, AND gives that person a chance at getting free.

the way I see it, it would probably take a max of 6 seconds of struggle then the animation. The moris could also have a varying precent for how many the survivor has to correctly press which would be a bit of a panic mode for survivors.

Honestly a friend of mine had a good idea..moris only activate after 2nd hook..HOWEVER..killers are given a massive blood point boost and dont lose points on ranking for doing it..plus keys would need changed obviously..and adding cypress to base kit would be awesome

That's still 6 seconds in which Survivors are hiding, healing, or doing gens. And then there's the chance the Survivor you're trying to kill will stun you & get away. And even if you kill them, now the animation has to play out afterwards.
That would in no way be worth using, man. The genrush meta is 3-5 minute matches. Time is too valuable to be spending on an item that might not even work.

But then why use the moris today as well? They also take several seconds so your argument doesn't really work

Because this idea would be adding time. Killing someone with a mori is faster than taking them to a hook and watching the death animation (not to mention the survivor probably has to go through struggle phase as well), if Survivors have a chance to escape then every reason to use the Mori goes out the window. You're adding time to the kill, not reducing it.
