Spirit is not a game breaking issue, DCing people are.
Just had yet another game that forced me to depip as 3 salty SWF DCed one minute into the game just as I downed the first one. It's not the first time it happens and it certainly won't be the last, since there doesn't seem to be any consequence to people DCing on purpose.
It needs to change. Spirit is not "overperforming" because she's broken, she is simply because people instantly DC to her, leaving other survivors in a disadvantage. The only thing that's broken here is that there's no punishment for people DCing, whether they don't like the map, the killer, the teammates or they just wanna give their friends the hatch.
Please consider giving players a temporary ban that scales up with each DC, up to a permanent ban, preventing them from ruining other people's games, since BPs and ranks don't seem to be enough of a deterrent, and DCing is quite the norm right now.

Another straw man post on Spirit.
Nobody in the community is calling her game breaking. There have been plenty of reasonable opinions about her shared; none of them are calling her a game breaker. The DEVS (NOT SURVIVORS!!!) indicated that she’s over performing.
Thats said, I completely agree that DC penalties should be a top priority right now. It’s not fun or fair for anyone.

Nononono... fixing the dedicated server issues should be first on the list. Who is suprised that someone DC if killer jump between positions during the chase? And hit someone in the middle of stun animation? Or get gits for 3-4 meters? Everything is reported in pinned thread here with no response from devs.
Yes, lets ban half of the people for DCing and another half stop playing, because only RIFT keeping lot of them on dedicated servers in this terrible condition.
I am playing games from 2003. And Dead by Daylight is FIRST and SINGLE game, which give me a resons to disconnect under few circumstances. And more of them under dedicated servers.
Note: Dedicated servers are worse in the way how it works. Before dedicated, you can see whole ping trace time to the killer. If the ping goes over the 150, you can left and try luck with new lobby. Now, you still have 43ms ping and behind the scene you can get killer with 300ms ping.

Spirit is not game breaking just unconterplayable and easy to 4k with.
DC and dedicated servers on the other hand... yeah those need to be fixed, especially the servers.

Games in which people DCed are not taken into account for the statistics.
However, spirit is over-performing in legit games according to devs ... and this fact did not surprise anyone (surv mains, killer mains and people for play both sides)
