So you facing better survivors, with a killer you aren’t any good with, and struggling shows that the nerfs were unnecessary? Weird logic there. On the contrary, all this post shows is entitlement. You are SUPPOSED to struggle if facing better players using a killer you suck with. You actually just proved the opposite that the nerfs were necessary lol. Here’s a thought, maybe try playing her after rank reset and getting better. I think an issue with a lot of killer mains is the expectation to do well with many killers, without putting a lot of time into each one.

Pufff.. lack of skill you say. Im one of the few people that played her sin realease and i have more than 1500 hours in the game. I assure you that's not my case... and if this new nurse is terrible for me imagine how bad she is for new players.
I'll tell you one more thing.. Bad game design. Clearly the devs run out of ideas or don't play their game at all. This new nurse is not even at the lvl of a trapper in red ranks, not only shes not destined to competitive anymore but also shes very un-fun to play and you get too much punishment for a non-existing reward other than entertain survivors while you look at how miserable her life is now.

Yes, she's still fun — the cool-down only prevents you from downing survivors 2-5 seconds faster than normal. Before, I typically downed survivors within 20 seconds, but now, that's around 25 seconds.
Through, 30% of her add-ons need some buffs in my opinion. ??

How exactly did you count that 5 extra seconds?
Survivor can now JUST HOLD W and run forward. Nurse won't be able to catch up within 15 seconds because of the long cooldown on her power and survivor just getting fast after getting hit.
I'm not trying to be rude but: How the hell can she still be fun when she isn't used anymore?
It's just as saying that doc is fine because he is still fun as long as you don't try to kill anyone with him.

I honestly didn't believe the whole running forward thing. It has nothing to do with skill, you simply can not catch up to a survivor just holding forward. This is beyond horrible, did the testing. Please just erase nurse from roster.

I was a good nurse main. Didn’t play her much anymore cause winning isn’t always fun, especially on console where the nurse population is so low that no one knows really how to play against her anyway. It was great being the few nurses on console to make good of her. Than she got nerfed and she can’t even kill anyone anymore. I mean sure, you can kill the one dumb guy on the team with her cause he’s just freaking out. Yet survivors literally don’t have to do anything to counter her anymore. It’s so nice when survivor teabag you and flashlight spam you at the exit gate cause you couldn’t do a f*cking thing about it

So? I 4ked nearly everytime as nurse too, give it some time. All a survivor needs to do is run in a straight line, you didnt 4k because you are good. You 4ked because survivors think they need to break LoS and mindgame like old nurse.
These survivors are bad, it is true you can simply run from her. No skill required whatsoever. Pretty good job so far @Peanits

Agree, nurse is not fun, she is not bad or something but it is just not fun anymore.
I wonder how the guy who suggested this basekit change or Legion nerf is still in the company... he should get fired honestly, these both killers are the most unfun killers in this game honestly. I preffer playing leatherface than either of those 2...

It is not even about fun anymore.
I seriously doubted that it was possible to run from nurse in a straight line. Let that sink in, a killer that can not catch up to survivors who run from him in a straight ######### line. No mindgames no nothing required, finding that i lost all faith in those developers.
This is not even factoring in exhaustion perks.
How is anybody going to have fun playing that or against that? This isn't possible for any other killer how did that ######### get through testing?

This is why the "learning blink" add-on is now brown (frequent and cheap) and no longer purple (rare and expensive) ... this was illogical !

You mean going overboard when all she needed was her blink add ons changed? Noooo...they wouldn’t possibly do that to Spirit. All jokes aside I really hope they don’t touch Spirit’s base kit because Prayer Bead just needs a small nerf.

Plaid flannel is nice to learn how blinks work mechanically. Nothing more or less.

If you have to play Nurse for a daily just use the plaid flannel. Having that indicator makes her not only much easier to play but also makes her feel more satisfying to play. Theres no point trying to torture yourself with the other addons when theres an addon specifically designed for new Nurse players.

In the few games before I uninstalled, I was literally unable to catch up to survivors if they had a speedboost perk. I. Was. LITERALLY. unable. to catch up. to a. running. survivor. As. Nurse.
Anyone who says she's fine or running straight doesn't work OBVIOUSLY don't play her, and if they somehow actually have used her it certainly isn't in sweaty ranks. And she just is so unfun now. Deleting her would have been more respectful than this rework.

the number one thing is that she is just completely unfun to play, it's not even a discussion of balance, nurse is now just tedious and frustrating.
why is it that balance comes secondary to fun only when it's the survivors enjoyment at stake?

The funny thing about this situation is all the people complaining in this thread would be SO happy if the current iteration of nurse was the next killer released.
Imagine we never had a nurse killer, and then suddenly this nurse was released. Still goes toe to toe with spirit as best killer in the game, can blink through walls, still has good map presence (don't even mention Haddonfield and big maps like that - I'm a huntress player. I know.), can down survivors really fast, etc. Like, it's obvious that they aren't looking at what she currently is, but comparing her to her previously broken state.
Oh, and isn't the person who made that video showing the nurse being slower than billy running, even though the nurse started WAY behind, and was only using one blink here in this thread, claiming that simply running straight is a counter to nurse now? Or was that a different diehard nurse player? Let me guess, still only charging one blink? I would love to see this new 'running in a straight line' counter.

PLAY HER.
Come back after a few matches in red ranks (or if you get sweaty SWF in other ranks it doesn't matter) and see if you think it was fun or effective.
Before you had to have skill otherwise NOTHING was going to happen to any survivor. Now? Just run straight. That is literally all anyone does now, they don't even bother trying to break LOS they can just run to the other side of the map and run you around for so long now.

As simply and lovely as that sounds; it most definitely does not work like this. If you factor in speedburst perks being even more effective now, and the incredibly easy to juke hits now you have to add much more than 5 seconds to the chase time.
Ooops, looks like you accidentally started a blink with the cooldown at 99%! Now you have to add more time.
Ooops, you're blink was bugged/got eaten by the map, better add more time!
This is an obvious example, but important to keep in mind.

The answer is pretty simple.
Its a 4 versus one. 4 survivors for every 1 killer.

No. She's terrible now. I can't believe I play a character for 2 years then she gets rekt, when they said only add ons. And I was HYPED for add ons changes. Almost all were useless.. now they're actually terrible.

Forget 'like before', I haven't seen any in all the games I've played since the update.
Not 1, compared to previous times climbing the ranks you'd always get a few at least in the red ranks. What a shame.
I'd like to see the #'s of Nurses playing now compared to a similar time frame before the 'change'.

Yeah I was hyped too, finally more useful addons other than extra blinks/omega.
What did we get? Some kinda useful ones... and a lot of the same stuff no one uses or actively hurts the killer.
I bet they won't release the number, it would show just how much no one liked the changes.

I've played her both before and after, and still enjoy her. I haven't had as much time to get used to it, but she's much better now imo. Instead of just being able to blink all the time as much as possible, now you actually have to think about whether or not it's worth it to blink the second time. "can I get a hit here if I use my second blink, or should I save it and blink twice at them?" She's much more rewarding for players that are skilled with her, which is what she should be.
Why do people always try to assume people dont know what they're talking about and flame them for it without even knowing? It just makes you look silly.

Really excited for the Rank rework they talked about so we don't have to go through this anymore with new Killers. Imagine if Trapper was a new character and not an original, we would be playing him Level 1 with only his perks at a high Rank against good Survivors for the first time; I'm sure if that happened everyone would cry weak and that buffs were needed.

You usually get punished for your mistakes when you play with Nurse. Now you need to play PERFECTLY. If not, you get double punishment. How this new Nurse is better?

Yep she fine, thats why her presence in trials is WAY WAY down. Only survivor mains think she is fine. And thats because they almost never see her unless so poor schmuck is doing a daily.
They "round filed" that killer. No point in playing something that is only frustrating.

Because if you double blinked into someone, missed, they ran away, they couldn't get far enough away, you already have two blinks again. Now you actually have to use some thought process into how many blinks you want to use.

What is skillful or fun about having your power limited artificially (blinking easily half as much before the changes) or when it screws you and eats a blink or the charge wasn't done so you lost the 2nd blink?
These are not skillful interactions, they're a byproduct of band-aid patch on Nurse that doesn't make mechanically or logical sense.
And who cares if they were spamming blinks? I'll let you in on a secret: if they were bad it doesn't matter if they were using blinks 24/7 or barely using it at all. SPAMMING BLINKS DOESN'T = REWARD. It just means you're moving a lot. That's all it has ever meant. You must USE YOUR SKILL in combination with the blink or nothing happens. Why does this stupid argument keep coming up?
If a trapper places a million bad traps or no traps, is there a difference? No, it takes skill to know where/when to place the trap. Spamming them doesn't get you a reward, it is the SAME for Nurse, except now you can't even use your power with confidence or fun anymore.

I take issue with this logic because “knowing when to use your blinks” has become “you are a one blink Nurse until you are 100% confident you have the second hit on a survivor because using it any other time forcibly makes you a one blink Nurse for the rest of the chase.” That’s not skill, that’s forced gameplay.

So you're assuming that the old Nurse was just a spam toy who were able to down instantly? I guess you underestimate how difficult she used to be. Now she is even worse. Just because my killer is "oVerPerForMinG" doesn't mean that she need to be mediocre
