Second wind change
How many times have you failed to activate second wind because your partner had healed 1% alone?
how many times have you managed to find someone before being hooked and have time to cure him completely by yourself (otherwise the bonus splits)?
I will answer for you: few
Second wind has great potential, and with some minor tweaking it would be really nice to be able to use it.
what do you think of these possible changes:
1) as now but the complete cure of a state of health is not required but only to perform a healing action on another person.
2) the perk has no pre-requisites but the broken status lasts 100/80/60 seconds before the heal.
3) as now but requires a safe unhook.
What do you think of these changes? I hope we can open a pleasant discussion

I dont disagree Second Wind should get some changes, but I feel its current state is a fair trade off. The only change I would like for it is that it takes into account two people healing and/or doing it through a medkit.

I woudn't increase the time before healed - for me that is a bad part actually too, not to mentioned you are broken and you can't be heled by anyone else so it feels like punishement and you want to make that even longer. The perk is meh currently for something that can activate only twice if you do something about it. I had an idea how to buff the current heal effect to be stronger/faster to be more worth if you get it even once but will see which day Ill post it here. Probably after all the current PTB changes ..

I think they should just make it so you have to complete a heal. Yeah that does mean you could just tap someone who is 99 on healing for it but I don't think that it matters that much.

I think that would be a little bit too easy. I think the best approach is to make it not one complete health state dependend. Something around 50% heal would be justified I think.

Nice topic. but posting this discussion here can't get enough attentions.
your idear is not bad. but still, I want to give some suggestions. this perk is a bit difficult to activate successfully, and once you get down during the healing count down, you will waste all the time spent on this perk. So I hope the second wind can guarantee healing one health state, even you are in dying state.
