Decisive Strike change...
I don’t think this perk needs any timer change but think what would be fair would be two additions:
- After DS’ing the killer, you are put into broken status for 60 seconds.
- If no obsession perks are being used in the match by anyone... An obsession is still chosen to mask DS/mask what the killer is using.
These doesn’t fundamentally change the perk, keeps the intention but adds some difficulty at times.
The idea behind the change: It can waste time for the survivor in exchange of the time it can waste for the killer.

Hmm ok so broken for 60 seconds... I get it.. but the second part. Are you saying games without people that have dstrike or an obsession perk will have an obsession? Cause that seems like a buff, hurting killers.
I'm just not understanding because dstrike itself is an obsession perk. It makes someone in the game an obsession, not always the person running dstrike tho.

Well it’s not really a buff to the perk, but a buff to not running it... and you also should consider that it buffs killers... if you run an obsession perk the survivors are more eager to think twice that you might have one. (easier pwyf stacks as an example)... The whole point of DS is to prevent tunnelling... but then people who don’t run it get punished? Doesn’t make an awful lot of sense if you want people to not take it.

If they completely remove any way to tell if DS is in play, I'm simply never gonna play around DS. ;)

Nope Ds is Fine Like it Is

I mean... if there’s an obsession you know there’s probably DS so try to play around... but if no obsession there’s no DS.

Exactly. The Obsession icon is usually a good indication of there being at least one person with Decisive Strike (provided the Killer isn't using an obsession perk/add-on). If you add the icon in every game even without people using obsession perks/add-ons, you can no longer tell if someone has DS. If that happens, I simply won't play around DS.
