Current state of the switch port?

Hi,

I recently moved countries and had to leave my computer behind and tons of things. I want to play dbd again but I only have a switch here. I'm also a bit iffy dropping 40 on a game I already own and wasn't in the best of shape on pc and from what I heard stronger consoles. Yes I know it's$25 on Amazon physically right now but that's not a option.

So, what is the player count like? Any switch exclusive issues? Are nightmare and bubba really missing? I didn't see oni in the dlc section either or the plague.

Regarding queue times, it depends on which country you moved to. Switch generally has a much smaller playerbase than the other platforms, especially PC, but if you live in a well-populated area like the United States or East Asia or possibly Europe, you should still get decent queue times as long as you're not playing at three in the morning.

There is an exclusive Trapper outfit for Switch players.

As for Nightmare and Bubba, I believe the Nightmare is not yet available on Switch, but hopefully that will change in the near future as my understanding is the devs are currently in negotiations with the license owners. There is certainly no specific agreement preventing him from being added to the Switch version, since if there were his perks would likely be part of the default perk pool the way that Bill's were on consoles originally. Bubba, on the other hand, is already available in the in-game Store, with the official DLC soon to be made available on the Nintendo Store.

Yeah, but hopefully it'll be there Soon(TM).

At least there's BBQ - I don't know if you saw the edit, but I revised my answer above to reflect the fact that Bubba is actually already available on the Switch, and we're just waiting on Freddy now.

Yes, I moved to east Asia, but that's good to hear they're working on that.
