Chase-based rank needed

So rank resets here.... again. Killer is yellow, survivor purple (have been rank 1 with both but haven't played much killer lately) The rank 17 smurfs in my killer games are WAY better in chases than the average purple/red and some games just feel like me and the killer are farming everyone else....

The current rank system is little more than a participation reward and barely measures skill, and now the boosted rank 5-4s are gonna stay there even longer...

This game needs a ranking system that measures the average chase times of survivors and matches them with appropriate killers. What this means is that as survivors get better and extend chases, they will get pitted against killers who are better at ending chases quickly. On the killer side, this ranking will be for each individual killer in a player's roster, as many killer mains are good at some and bad with others, as well as making the daily rituals more tolerable. This would also keep nurse mains from feeling locked by their rank if they want to play other killers.

A simple reward for players to hit and hold high ranks could be iridescent shards and maybe even exclusive charms for those who get near the top.

Obviously kill rates and safe hook rescues would need to be incorporated too, but more as a minimum requirement, while chase quality determines where the players move in the ladder.

Comments and critiques are welcome, especially if anyone else can notice ways this system could be exploited.
