Why is window tech a thing?

You have counter play tho. Just hug the wall and look the other way to see if they did it. Boom just solved the problem.

Devs approach to fixing exploits:
Does it break the game?
Yes: Fix asap and bans all around
No: It's a tech lol much skill very counterplay

window tech just makes the skill gap for survivor bigger. i feel like it's not bad b/c it's not the biggest game changer if you realize a survivor does it

Yes, the window tech should exist. If you go out a window and see no survivor and no scratch marks, turn around. Its a unique, skill-based method of escaping and risky AF.
Also, I thought the "hook tech" was fixed so people can't do that anymore. 🤷
And the killers FOV isn't poor, its intentional for the suspense and fun of the game, and definitely should exist.

Firstly, a mod response saying a "tech" like that contributes to the fun aspect of the game really opens anyone's eyes for how biased BHVR can really be.
Secondly, if people actually learn how to read a post and not just the title almost half of the responses wouldn't be completely pointless like these "you have counterplay so it should exist" or "if you fall for that you're bad".
And finally, the acknowledge of such exploits isn't as spread as people tend to believe, many people defending these bugs say that it's a know thing which is easily counterable by anyone and my question to these people is who told you that this things existed ? and more importantly, does the common player share the same communities you follow in order to know about this things too ?
