Since you cant DC, can we add give up after 2min being slugged?
Like in title, as much as i hate ppl DCing in the start of the game but can we get give up option after being slugged for 2min (half of bleed bar)
1min would be too short in world when you play around DS with slugging surv for 1min
and when youre slugged for half of bleed bar that means your gaming experience 😑 is kinda bad because some sweaty killer is slugging for 4men slug or for 4k (because if youre slugged for 2 min, there is decent chance you will be slugged till bleed out or at least to 99% bleed bar 🤢 ) and you wont tell me 2min isnt enough for killer to hook surv xd

its not really "sweat for the 4k" If the killer earned it they should get it, also especially in red ranks a 4k is usually the only way to pip

What's that? Why should you have to run a perk to counter a play style you dislike when BHVR should just add a give up feature? I dunno. You tell me.

If slugging wasn't encouraged, sure. It is however and is part of the game. You can't punish people for playing how they want.

You can reset the game and come back if someone has Unbreakable. Still, I don't think it's a bad idea, as long as they implement that husk feature.

bruh i have over 900h on killers, and without carring about ranks, killing, slugging, using slowdown perks i have to run selfsandbag build to not be in red ranks

dude im playing wraith with distressing, BoP, insidius (btw it doesnt counter brown add ons) and bbq, with brown add ons that dont supress my TR and i decloak after break animation
men if you have problem with ranking up without slowdown AND slugging, maybe youre the problem?

edit: i love how ppl (especially entitled killer mains) reject possibility of someone being better than them and not needing training wheels such as ruin (or slowdown perks overall), ofc entitled surv mains have their own problems like "i died because i was tunneled, and i wouldnt die if he didnt tunneled me " xd

@GodDamn_Angela Why shouldn't you make use of perks? Sure you can run your favourite master build. But there is counter play in this game. If you liked to use BL and Haddonfield offering to run the infinites and then run into exhaustion gas or exhaustion hatchets... well sh**, your fav build doesn't work and you wasted an offering. So when you have so serious personal problems with the slugging and run into it so often that you feel the need to write in the forums about it, an anti slug build would definitely my first approach. Might not work always but saves you from the really bad games

@Deadeye welp there is no arguing with someone that thinks if you want QoL buff for one side that means that person never played other side (that kind of argument from @FriendlyGuy is insulting as well, because he cames up with idea EVERY killer slug for 4k like he does xd and its weird you dont sweat, argue "you dont understand my role" is funny and no mather what i tell he wont listen after that claim)
he is arguing "you dont understand my role" to someone that dont use slowdown or excessive slugging to win, and in his mind its impossible to win this way (so you can assume its impossible with his current skill)

tbh now i know i was kinda harsh but amount of time on this forum i was told to "play some killer" or "play some surv" is scary, to the point ppl stopped telling me why my idea is wrong (which most likely is about removing unfun parts of the game, or improving QoL for 1 side) i have over 2400h and around 1400h on surv and 1000h on killers, and someone is telling me over 50th time (by now) to play X role because i dont agree with him xd
well 4k assumption wasnt him but in the begining of thread i wrote about this change for times when killers are 4men slugging or slugging for 4k (because only in those cases surv is slugged for more than 2mins) + you wont slug someone for 2 min if you see someone right after downing 3rd person, you have go to out of your way to slug someone for more than 2 mins, and i dont like that kind of slugging
slugging for DS or to not tunnel or because you see other surv is good, but going out of your way to slug is boooring

Regarding the "give up". I think it should not just be a DC equivalent, then the DC punishment is worthless. I also dislike self sacrifices for no reason (just because "got found first within 10sec") but to add auto struggle cuts the option to give the last survivor the hatch for example. When all of a sudden someone decides to quit while a survivor is approaching the slugged one some seconds too late, it would again be negative to have that "feature". It takes a bit more of a rework, to avoid stuff like that and not open up for abuses

@Galklife I still would not do it like "after 2 mins I DC" more like set yourself into struggle mode where you loose blood very rapidly and speed up the countdown, and that being visible to survivors and killer, so anyone needs to react.
Another example why the DC option isn't good: if someone thinks "you are potato, you unhooked me without BT before and the killer tunneled me, I stop wiggling and die rather than give you unhook points". You could do the same with that slugging option at some point. Less common as it needs 2 minutes before it happens, but that "legal DC" option is really a bad approach. It fixes rare situations and opens up bad play. Several situations most people complain about in this game aren't fixed that easily, as most of the mechanics have an intended purpose

Nobody. Literally nobody played every single of his matches without slugging. I only slug if it's really needed, if i play trapper or billy more and if i play nurse like never.
The killer power contributes massively to the best playstyle of the killer. Billy is extraordinary good at slugging, so some people play slug billy.
The only thing you came up with is, that you don't like and need that "noobish" playstyle. Fine, no problems here. But insulting people that do it and crying for nerfs to a playstyle, because it's "wrong" and "toxic" for you, not cool bro.
Aside, you said you use meme builds to derank, so ######### should you know about red ranks m8?

ok let me tell you, excessive is when killer going out of his way to slug :not because of DS, not because he saw other surv or he want to gain some time .because most of the time if its slugging not one of those 3 most likely killer is slugging for slugging (either to start looking for last surv, or 4men slug)
and you should agree with me, when youre slugging DS you dont slug him for 2min, or when you slug because you saw someone (he should be picked up before 2 min mark, most likely even in 1min) and if you slug for 4k so often youre willing to defend that you should know how often that surv is bleeding out (ofc you may run bbq or surv may not move) but its not that rare for that surv to never be found again and bleed out xd
its not like someone would give up because of slugging DS (since timer for that option is twice longer than DS)
right now youre acting literally like those survs that thinks if you find them 2nd time(after hooking someone else) but within 60sec (and they use ds) youre tunneling them

Slugging is a strategy. I think devs have instead to make something for survivor game hostage. I kill the first two, the other two not complete gens and remain hide for more then 30 min. I cant open exit gates cause they not complete gens. I go dinner and when return the game was completly stopped. I found them for luck and kill them. They was upstairs in gideon in the room up the bath hide in a corner with a chest and have a key, but they literally no serch for the hatch, and doing nothing.

Raw slug billy would be excessive slugging by your definition. Because he just relies on crack or instasaw to down people quick and instantly move on to the infectious target. No hooking before all people are downed.
Your change would only shorten the bleedout timer by two minutes.
And slugging for the 4k is completely fine if you wanna do it. The last survivor can just stealth for the duration of the slug.

Ok for me if :
1) You lose all survival and objective point ( as you did the opposite of what you should have do and there is perk to avoid slug).
2) The killer get compensate for that : chase, deviouness and sacrifice.
3) The trap door can open only after 15s as you die (in order to avoid to offer a free escape).

But as OP said, 2 minutes is more than enough time to find the last guy and that is more than half of the survivors bleed out timer. Also, that is a very uncommon situation so the super altruistic swf member will just dc and wait 30 seconds

The rank system is garbage that any player will eventually reach red ranks, regardless of their own skill.
Asymmetrically multiplayer games in nature aren't competitive due to being asymmetrical. Both roles are literally doing different things from one another, that both sides can benefit if one side fails.
