Will keyboard and mouse ever be supported on a console?

i want to play keyboard and mouse on my ps4 and it doesn’t work /:

    No one really knows. They are looking into the possibility of adding cross-play between platforms (console/PC), and if they do that it's possible that they might implement KBM support on console to level the playing field a bit. So no official word yet, but we can hope!

    That's a question that's hard to answer, there's no real way to know if that will ever be a thing.

    While yes they're considering cross-play, we don't have any clue if keyboard support will be implemented in the future as well, it never was before and keyboards were still a possibility for use on PS4...

    So who knows, this could be seen as gaining an advantage over other console players DESPITE cross-play being considered, it would make sense that before this wasn't implemented because of that issue, so it's unknown if it would be ok when cross-play is added... if it is added that is.
