(ps4) on the lag and matchmaking
unfortunately i have a few complaints/issues
1. being, that today at least (19th dec), the lag has been Extremely bad. there have been times when ive been suddenly teleported back across the map, thus giving the killer a free down on me. there's also been multiple times when ive just been standing on top of a downed survivor, unable to pick them up because of lag, and then by the time i can do things again, they've moved away. i know that the dedicated servers are new but, you'd expect at least a little improvement after a few months.
2. the matchmaking seems terrible- i'm not sure if it's the same for pc, but at least for me and my party of friends who are all the same rank (14), we've been seeing some pretty bad rank match ups. we've been put against rank 10s, and at one point a rank 8 killer, when at the time we were rank 16 and 14 respectively. as a killer, i am rank 17, and have been matched with rank 10s. and this isn't a new issue- before i took a break and before a few rank resets, i had been rank 10 killer against rank 20 survivors. there's no way this method of matchmaking, whatever it is, is fair.
the last one seems to have been an issue for a while, so im confused as to why there haven't been any changes/improvements to the matchmaking system?
also please let us ps4 players have post game text chat, i need to tell the one mikey player that actually made me scream irl that they Did That.

the matchmaking is a severe issue here honestly... my friend just started playing killer and is a rank 18. they just got matched against a rank 11 prestige survivor. last night, we were playing swf and got put against a rank 8 killer, and we're rank 16 surv. how is that fair??

and just had two 9 and an 8, with a 17. for real, if you're in swf, you should be matched against someone closer to your highest rank player.
and i'm saying this as a surv main lmfao i literally only just started playing killer and this is beyond funny.

why I have lags in every single match. running stops terribly, there is no way of jumping out of the window, I throw the palette and get Hits behind the fallen palette. there is something you can do about it, you can't play it like that. Maybe you could give me the money for this poor imitation of the game !!!!!!!!!!!
