Gen regression
So, my question is how much does a generator regress per second after kicking it? I was wondering how well surge and thrilling tremors would go instead of having to use ruin.

Gens regress at 0.25 c/s.
Survivors repair at 1 c/s base with no buffs/debuffs.
So if a gen is 99% it would take (80*0.99)/0.25 = 79.2/0.25 = 316.8 seconds (5 minutes 16.8 seconds) to fully regress.
Basically for every second it takes a survivor to repair a gen, it takes 4 seconds to regress.

Wow. That's pretty bad

I think the idea is to not make them equal and negate any progress a Survivor did on that generator.
Despite it looking like it's bad, every second in this game is very important... so if nobody comes back to a generator for 2 minutes when it was at 99%, than it just makes it easier to monitor and not worry about.
Sometimes it won't be at 99% though, it'll be at 50% or 20%... if not repaired again, it'll go back to 0% after about a minute or two.
This is why perks like "Pop Goes the Weasel" are currently meta, it takes 25% off that generator once kicked. While it doesn't regress the generator a lot faster than normal... it does make people believe that's the case, due to the red effect it gives off.
Whether that is a good thing or not is... subjective.
