Hex Totem Spawn Placement

It is not fun or balanced for a killer to immediately lose their hex, in which they invested a perk slot, at the very beginning of the match because of the hex totem spawning right next to a survivor or generator in plain site.

There are two very easy fixes for this.

A. Create a minimum distance of 15 meters from generators and survivor spawns in the map generation for totems.

B. Have the hex totem only activate once the criteria for the first token is met (or after the first gen is completed for hexes that do not have tokens, like ruin.)

And one more complicated solution:

Allow the killer to place the hex onto a totem of their choosing.

If they just made the totems not spawn literally next to generators it would mostly solve the issue. Who thought it was a great idea for a survivor to spot a totem while repairing a gen? If survivors actually had to put some thought into finding totems rather than just run a circle along the gens it would make the perk actually do it's job, stall the game.

Exactly. I believe that the 15 meter minimum distance from gens and surv spawns is the best solution
