Change to Buckle Up to make it useful
Buckle Up's effect of seeing the killer is not very useful what fi instead it had a borrowed time effect so that the new perk would be
"Unlocks potential in one's Aura-reading ability.
The recovery progress of dying Survivors can be determined by the intensity of their Auras
at a distance of up to 48 metres.
When you heal a Survivor from the Dying State to Injured for 15 seconds, any damage taken that would put the unhooked Survivor into the Dying State will instead apply the Deep Wound
Status Effect. The Survivor has 10/15/20 seconds to mend themselves.
This would be a good anti slugging tool to help your teammates since most of the anti slugging perks are for yourself.

People actually run Buckle Up?

I think so. It would be borrowed time but for slug

No I'm surprised that people use the perk considering how garbage it is.

Never saw someone using it

Me neither.
Hence my surprise.

Buckle up is Self care tier

That would actually be rather interesting... Slugging is a very popular tactic, and this could shake that up a tiny bit. It would make surviving as the last standing survivor a bit more feasible, especially if the killer has found you with infectious fright or is slugging them for a 4k. Definitely a much better idea than the current buckle up. It's a shame that Ash has such awful perks.

This.
This isnt overpowered and it is very good to the slugg builds and the 4k match. It would be a very good perk Buckle up. The Devs really need to do something and this is a great idea, hope they implement it.:(

The whole Ash kit needs to be revised.

Please no, no more second-chance perks for survivors! You got downed, you deserve to be vulnerable!

You can still hit the guy who picked them up.

That's an interesting take, I like the idea of a borrowed time for dying survivors, but the problem is : what if the whole team is annoying a killer who didnt plan on slugging at the beginning ? he gets punished for hitting a survivor he worked on getting down for no reason ? that would be quite unfair no ?

I'm giving a context : Billy downs someone, he is really happy about it, but he knows there is a flashlight gamer right behind him, he hits the survivor, and now the two others start coming after him too, now he tries to pick up the dying survivor, but that Ash heals him, he hits, aaaand endurance kicks in. Billy lost his down, and wont get another one to save it.
Billy is very bad at the game.

Wdym? The killer downs someone, sees a survivor, decides to slug, downs another survivor. Goes back for slug, slug is picked up, hits slug back down but they have BU on them. Decides to go back for other slug to pick them up. End result: 3 survivors not doing gens while the killer got a hook and an injure. Does that sound unfair?

@Waffleyumboy gave a context where it can seem unfair

That wasn't my intention but I guess it can. A perk slot can be used for things much less fair.

You left the survivor on the floor, knowing the potential risks in doing so. Furthermore, the survivor is using a perk slot for the chance to get OP's effects, which, mind you, not every killer slugs.
I think this is a fair second chance perk.

I would just prefer Buckle Up to give you a healing speed buff (40%-50%) to other downed survivors. Situational but potentially useful, gets a slugged survivor playing faster, and punishes slugging without feeling unfair like how "second chance perks" can feel.

I would like Buckle Up buffed, but not like this. We really don't need another second chance perk.
Especially since this would often be used in conjunction with Decisive Strike. The only counter is to slug them, so it would be take the stun every time, or risk them getting borrowed time from the ground and have to hit them again anyway.
This would just be a much too problematic change to the perk. Something like healing speed when healing downed allies would be much more appropriate.

I actually plan on using the current buckle up for my killer detection perk for the reason that I and the healed survivor will see the killer's aura similarly to how aftercare shows my aura to other survivors and their aura to me.

I would absolutely hate that as a killer honestly.
Killers already have to play around strong perks like BT,DS,Unbreakable all the time.
Buffing buckle up that way would be too strong. You already have to take unbreakable into account when trying to slug.
I would rather change it to something completely different. We already have perks like unbreakable and for the people to counter slugging anyway.
