Spine Chill is not that useful, change my mind.

eh I like using weird perk combos

You can't hear them, but you can see where they are with some good eyes and if you set your graphics low basically you are wallhacking.
And stealth killers are not the only killers in game, most killers have a terror radius, so what's the point on using spine chill in that scenario?

If you say so...

I see.. I see

That happens cause sounds are bugged, wait for the sound to get fixed...

Spine chill activates before you can hear the TR, and it gives a speed boost for any objective you are on.

But I like No Mither

You don't need an exhaustion perk to be good at chasing, but people still use exhaustion perks. Exhaustion perks help in the chase which can give the killer a harder time to catch the survivor. Spine Chill is the exact same where the killer has a much harder time sneaking up on the survivor, and sometimes even stopping a chase from happening.

resilience when going against a plague hehe

You don’t need it sure, I can hear a stealth killer coming but it’s useful for new players, players who don’t use headphones, or being injured in general. If you’re injured and working on a gen a ghostface, pig, michael, wraith (with certain addons), spirit, and even killers with tinkerer can down you if you don’t react fast enough. Same thing with healing, if a stealth killer has nurses, spinechill will definitely come in handy.
Simple, when a killer is chasing you the perk will turn on. When you’re at a jungle gym, there’s plenty of room to mindgame. If a killer tries to hide their red stain or moonwalk you can tell because the perk turns off. When it does and stays off for a bit it gives you time to think and change directions.
Hmm I wouldn’t know about that because I’m on PS4 and I don’t get dedicated server’d.
It’s not S tier but it also isn’t bad, I’d rank it B+ imo. It’s good for lazy games, new players, and players without headphones.

You've already made up your mind, no matter what people say you think it's garbage and want to insult people that use it, cool. TO each his own I like that fact that even with his bell addon Wraith can't sneak up on me around a corner.

Yeeesss >:)

Default terror radius is 32
Spine Chill activates at 36 meters
So the diference is: 6 meters
6 meters for a perk slot?
And btw, you are never going to be sure if the killer is coming at you, since it can be faking, you will most likely need to move when the killer is at 16 meters (the same thing a no spìne chill user would do)

I find no mither somehow good in a sabo squad, but then it is dog ######### XD

So you can't subtract?

This is the exact kind of comment that lots of veterans made for a few years.
First, everyone used Premonition & Spine Chill cause of "Wraith OP", and it was pretty split among the players on which was better.
When everyone realized that Wraith wasn't OP, those 2 Perks quickly became meh Perks.
And now they're back again...well, one is.
Btw, this is not talking about anyone who has always used it, but from my experience in-game, on the Steam forums and on these forums, it was mostly a disregarded Perk among experienced players for a very long time.
This is not to change your mind, i don't really care what my fellow Survivors use.
But it's in general just not a bad Perk to have, miles better than, idk, 2/3 Ash Perks.

You're comparing apple to oranges..

I somehow do better with no mither equipped. XD

Spine Chill is amazing if you play to avoid the killer and chaser. It also give you a nice little speed boost.
To each their own!
1 -
If you wanna be stealthy spine chill is s tier. My favorite perk with self care. It has saved my butt uncountable times
1 -
Huh?
Im saying that diference of noticing if the killer is coming is 6 meters... since the default terror radius is 32.
So
32+6= 36
And the wiki says "Get notified when the Killer is looking directly in your direction and standing within a range of 36 metres."
A range of 36m
Default terror radius: 32
Soo..?
0 -
I agree with you
0 -
If you avoid chases and the killer you will most likely not pip.
Enjoy that green rank teammates lol
0 -
32+6=38
2 -
I do better when I have stake out, dont know why lol
1 -
Because it isn't just for stealth killers, it just happens to be best against them.
Also, most stealth killers aren't noisy.
I'm not saying it's as busted as all the second chance perks currently available, but arguably against anything other than the over tuned meta perks it's up there.
1 -
U got me there, but the chances of going against plague are low (people still dont realize how strong being a 1 shot killer is plus free stridor)
0 -
"Over tuned"
More laughs for me :)
0 -
Default terror radius:
32
Spine Chill = 38m
38-6 = 32
Spine Chill diference = 6m
0 -
You said Spine Chill is 36
0 -
My mistake, I just checked the wiki.
I forgot the values, but then back to discussion.
0 -
Not everyone can understand.
0 -
What did you mean with "Over tuned"
?
0 -
I mainly use spine chill since I'm extremely oblivious.
0 -
Breaks through stealth, becomes situational with extensive meta knowledge. Like BBQ
0 -
He’s saying he thinks those perks are op.
0 -
Rank 1 survivor. Always have spine chill.
Stay frosty!
7 -
A guaranteed chase is very strong imo. Spine chill can save countless health states during a match against a killer who tries messing with their TR.
1 -
Perks that are currently too strong and/or unhealthy for the game.

It's not just avoiding chases, avoiding the FIRST chase can be huge. It means you have that extra time to work on your first gen, and it gives you a better chance to make saves if you're not the first one hooked and spending all game injured or possibly even tunneled.
It doesn't even have to help you avoid a chase at all, giving you a heads up to start the chase in better position is huge. It lets you work on gens in weak positions knowing you can get to the nearest safe loop to start the chase. This can change a chase from 20 seconds to over a minute or whatever depending on looping skills of you and the killer.
4 -
I also see people running much worse perks and wasting a slot. How many people use Head on, and that is useful in way less scenarios than Spine Chill if you ask me. But not all 4 perks have to be meta, I can play silly builds even in red ranks and pip or black pip nearly every game. Have some fun.

He doesn't say so, official notes say so

Why would anyone go straight to a locker if the perk is telling you there's an 80% chance the killer is watching you go to said locker...
I feel like this is not a credible post. The perk is very good.
0 -
I think you're the spine chill fanboy tbh.
You're over exaggerating the spine chills effect, and this where I say it is over rated.
If you are good a chases/looping you will not have problem at being chased.
0 -
Im saying that cause most spine chill user do that, they think the killer is coming only because the perk light up for 1 milisecond, and stay in that locker for 1 minute.
(The killer didn't come btw)
Believe what you want, the perk is over rated and not that useful.
And most stealth killers are weak/no one playing them and that's the pro of spinechill, so we can say it is a situational perk.
0 -
I like it cause I prefer not to have a Pig, GF, Spirit, or Myers grab me off something. It's a free down and can quickly snowball the match. Old Prayer Beads basically made Spine Chill mandatory.
0 -
If you get grabbed that's on you, most maps are like autohaven/mac millan, so the chance of you getting grabbed are low, I never get grabbed and I dont use spine chill, and grabs are bugged so...
0 -
Plenty of people are playing Wraith now because of Trutalent, again you have clearly made up your mind so there's no point trying to convince you otherwise.
I like spine chill, I'm sure you're using perks I feel are unnecessary as well but everyone has to go with what is best for them.
4 -
Out of curiosity what is your "go to build," four perks
0 -
Wraith needs to uncloack, wraith isn't 100% invisible.
And a better counter to stealth killers is:
Sprint Burst.
Everyone is now using sprint burst + vigil to 99'ing it, cause it is really strong, and you can sit in a gen without any problem cause you have a sprint..
Way better than spine chill, more eficient, no situational.
