Totem Counter

A totem counter would be a great addition for people that perfer to solo queue, it would display how many totems are currently in the map. Unlike in SWFS, solo queuers have no way of communicating to their team on how many totems are left. This would also give the arguement that things such as NOED punish survivors that don't do Totems more ground to stand on.

Hmm. I think it wouldn't be too much to add this effect to Small Game.

It's needed for solos to balance the game with swf in mind

Its not a solo issue. Its still an issue for 2 and 3 man SWF, cause you cant know what the others are doing or not.

For solo players, it would be better, but at the same time, it would just be a very good counter for NOED, knowing exactly how many totems are left. I think it should just be added as an effect to Small Game, so it would be useful, but you would have to use the perk to get that effect.

If they add this feature to a perk, I would probably use it for three rounds, say it is a great addition that gives good information, then replace with with more vital perk and never run it again.

How many players out there saying they don't rely on certain perks to survive or get kills?

If you don't want to be tunneled you should run DS, they slug you a lot? then run unbreakable, you want to be stealth run Iron will or Q&Q or both, you want to be able to outrun killer to another loop, run an exhaustion perk. Want extra bloodpoints run WGLF, want to give yourself a break after killer chases you till all gens are done, run adrenaline.

I have other perks that I like but can't run them because of how I depend on these to survive. So any informational perk change like kindred will be a good change but not useful at all for me.
