Hook placement

I've noticed that the hooks being place around the map are severely too close, when I get placed on a hook and I can look over and literally wave to the other survivor who else is on a hook I think that they might be a little too close.

But, doesn't it only make the hooks sabotaged for all of about 3 minutes?

And still there are places where you physically cant make it fast enough to a hook, even without anyone blodyblocking you
