Can you transfer data from an the xbox (pc) dbd to steam?
Just as the title suggests, I have been playing some dbd because i recently got 3 month access to their Xbox pass for PC and i was wondering if i get dbd on steam will the data be able to be transferred or no? since its cross-play and all.

The only Cross-Play that currently exists is Cross-Play between the Steam and Windows versions, that's it.
BHVR is indeed interested in Cross-Play and possibly adding Cross-Play from Console to PC as well, but it's currently not a thing at this time. And it's unknown if we will get it or not, but history does show that they're indeed interested in the possibility.
But basically no, you can't transfer your Xbox data to the Steam version through the Xbox Pass, this has been asked before and it does not work no.
Sorry.

I'm confused on what you're saying, you can play the game through the Xbox Game Pass, but it still isn't cross-platform compatible because you're not actually playing with PC players as a Xbox player and vise versa...
The only versions of DBD that're Cross-Platform is Steam, and Windows... nothing else. In a more basic term, you cannot transfer any data from any version OVER to another version, it isn't possible.

If you're playing the PC version of the game from the Windows Store, you won't be able to transfer your progress to the Steam version.
If you're playing the Xbox version of the game through the Xbox app on Windows, you will neither be able to transfer your progress to Steam, nor will you be able to crossplay with Steam players.
Either way, cross-progression unfortunately isn't an option at the moment. However, it is something that the devs are exploring, but no word yet on when it will be implemented. Probably not any time in the immediate future.

I believe playing thru Xbox Beta App is same as getting DBD thru windows store as they both link, and i only say that because i just got placed against a Freddy Krueger and i believe you cannot buy Freddy on Xbox (as i cant find it in DLC/character list)

I'll admit I'm not sure what the Xbox Beta App is, but I know there is a Windows app which you can link to your Xbox to play Xbox games on your computer. If that's what you're talking about, then you're playing the Xbox version of the game, which does not have cross-play with PC, either through Steam or the Windows Store. So while both games are hosted on the Microsoft Store, the Windows Store PC edition of the game and the Xbox One edition are not interchangeable.
And even if they were, you cannot transfer progress between the Windows Store and Steam versions of the game.
As far as Freddy goes, I'm not an Xbox player so I can't confirm this, but from what I can tell Freddy's DLC is available on Xbox One - at least that does seem to be the case according to this page on the official Microsoft Store https://www.microsoft.com/en-au/p/dead-by-daylight-a-nightmare-on-elm-street-chapter/c016hjpptw16?activetab=pivot:regionofsystemrequirementstab

His DLC was released back in 2017 for Xbox One I believe, several videos confirm this suspicion when you tag Xbox one in the search bar.
I personally don't know why that information is so... "buried", but this seems to be when he was released for all platforms (that were available at that time).
With that^ being said, the Xbox Beta App is still not a gate-way for cross-platform connection between Xbox and the Windows/Steam versions of DBD. If it was, we'd have more information that... but we don't, as I've not seen any information or outright claims that these platforms can indeed connect to each other through Cross-Platform play.

This post is ancient when it comes to forum standards, by the time you commented this the post was insanely outdated.

So Crossplay between XBox-Game Pass (PC) and Steam (PC) is available. I play often with friends that just have Steam. But i wonder, if i can transfer my game progress from the Pass to Steam. Can I buy DBD on Steam and then play with my Bloodpoints from the Game-Pass Version?

No, as of now cross progression is not available, and likely won't be any time soon either.
