Remove Ruin and Surveillance combo
With these changes, doctor becoming too OP. I don't wanna play this game until these changes reverted.This game becoming M1 simulator.

I saw a video of all five gens getting done posted by Tru3 where two got out only because the last person messed up.

You realize nobody plays seriously in the PTB? Since nothing matters, people play how they want. A lot of survivors i saw in his vids were dicking around looking at the rats in the stalls.

Remove the doctor, ruin, and surveillance. I saw a professional killer beat some survivors with it in one video and I think this is definitely reason enough. I'm something of a video game scientist, believe me guys.

This is a bait but I should state this for people who wont do the research. You can watch Tru3's other games from his twitch and in at least one of them he got dominated as Doctor using the Ruin+Surveillance combo. He also stated that Ruin should not be a hex anymore since the hex treatment is too much of a downside for its current state.

Two people still got out and it would’ve been three if the Ace played smart at the end. Why should games end in five minutes? That’s not very fun for either side.

It all goes back to the survivors - if your match has Ruin, go find the totem and cleanse it.

But two died because the Ace ran right to Tru3, if every survivor did that then killers would have a 100% kill rate, that wouldn’t make killers op.
I main survivor and matches over ten minutes are the best ones because we actually have time for everyone to play and get some enjoyment.

It was only two kills because the last Survivor tried an unnecessarily dangerous play for style points at the very instead of getting out sensibly and got punished. Had the Survivor actually legitimately cared about escaping, that would have been only one kill that was made after all the gens were finished.

They did though, docs power has the potential to stop loops and if they’re so bad but two escaped then you’re proving that this combo doesn’t need nerfed since “bad” survivors managed to get two escapes, if these survivors are bad then imagine average or good survivors.

I know the OP is pretty much troll bait, but regardless, I'd actually agree with the removal of this perk interaction. Not because it's OP or anything, only because it is inconsistent with the other perks that killers use to affect generators (i.e. Pop Goes the Weasel and Overcharge). The fact that the text of Surveillance specifies "regressing generators" and not "after preforming a break generator action" (i.e kicking) is a technicality that I do not believe is intentional and purely coincidence. When Surveillance was created, the only way a killer could regress a generator was with through a kick. Now that Surge has been added, and Ruin being changed, yes, killers now get the ability to regress gens through those means, but why should Surveillance work but not Overcharge? Obviously Pop is a different story, since it is not always available.
Obviously, the interaction of Ruin applying Overcharge every time would be quite brutal, though there is a debate to be had regarding gen tapping or preventing regression with 1 frame of animation during a chase, but since ruin skill checks are already too difficult for some percentage of the DBD community, it is folly to think they would allow Overcharge to interact with Ruin. Therefore, for consistency, I don't think Surveillance should either (same logic should apply to Surge too).

All the gens were done in a little bit over 9 minutes. It really wasn't a too long match. And as someone else said, it should've been a 3 man escape if not for Ace's misplay.

Gens take forever with that combo because killer always run to the yellow gens.Thats the problem.I like chases but sometimes you need to rush gen when killer is chasing someone

And yet people take most of the posts on here serious.
You don't have to agree with tru3, but you can't deny he is good at the game. He explains how he likes to play and expresses his opinions. Whether you agree with him or not, he has a style of play that often works for him. You may not like his attitude, or wardrobe or whatever, but he IS successful at the game the way he is trying to play.
And yes i do agree with some of what he says. I also disagree. I don't think hes very entertaining but he is knowledgeable.
So flame me for being a tru3 apologist or whatever. I just don't understand the absolute hate that he is targeted with.

Lol just cleanse the totem. He says he doesn't wanna get chased and lose progress on the gen yet he continues to try to repair instead cleansing the totem. As devs said just cleanse the totem as it is part of the game and doing so will weaken the killer greatly. Or keep doing what you do and ask devs to nerf a nerfed hex ruin even more lol.
