Switching totems to offerings

When you see a secret offering for a killer, you can pretty much assume it's a Mori. What else can it be if not the rarely bragged about shroud that makes survivors spawn apart from one another. There is no variety, and no surprise, just a question of how many the killer will Mori. 
So what if we spice things up a bit. Let's make blood webs and games more interesting and add totem effects. 

As it stands, killers aren't happy with totems. They are unreliable and the dependency a lot have on ruin has made the spawn locations on most maps easy to find for survivors, when they aren't presented at the start of on a hill like a lighthouse. So rather than constantly running a ruin totem, we are occasionally allowed a devour hope that can't be shut down. A game where your huntress lullaby can get stacks. A third seal that truly has an effect on the game. 

Now for those that are reflexively typing OP, I'd like to welcome you to asymmetrical gaming. Are they a bit powerful, yes, but so is Myers' infinite tombstone combo, self setting traps, and iridescent hatchets. The key is to make these offerings more rare because they are powerful. This would effectively replace totems opening them up for new secondary objectives use.

    This would involve a lot if changes..........maybe.... either way the devs I feel are a bit too lazy to try this out.. there is a need for more offerings though

    If the spaghetti code insults are true it may be difficult, but not more so than attempting any other change. It's letting them keep totems the same but adding a condition
