full clown rework idea

since we're getting the doctor reworked, i thought that the next killer on the "rework list" should be the clown. he has no map pressure at all and is imo, garbage.

rework idea:

instead of his power being called "The Afterpiece Tonic", i came up with "Of Death and Laughter" (bad name, ik), as my rework idea isn't solely based around bottles that hinder and blind your victims, rather 3 powers put into 1.

Of Death and Laughter:

Kenneth Chase has developed a new way of immobilizing his prey.

The Clown's primary power is The Afterpiece Tonic, bottles that can be broken to emit a vicious gas to capture any survivor. The Clown spawns with 5 Afterpiece Tonics. He can toss these bottles at any given time which will break and cause a Gas Cloud to appear. The Clown takes 5 seconds to reload his bottles and will not suffer a slowdown while reloading.

The Clowns secondary power is Lethal Odor. 12 odor-filled balloons will spawn in the trial. Every 30 seconds, a balloon will pop, spreading a huge Gas Cloud to spread within a distance of 28 meters. The Clown can also pop these balloons by interacting with them. Balloons will regenerate every 30 seconds. A balloon's aura that is selected to pop will slowly turn yellow. Balloons are highlighted in white by default.

Survivors that are hit by a Gas Cloud will suffer a -15% Hindered effect and will have their screens blurred while they are in the gas. If they leave the gas, they suffer this effect for an additional 3 seconds. Survivors cannot vault while affected by this gas. Gas Clouds linger for 12 seconds.

One generator will always spawn as an "Imitation Generator". The generator will not contribute to any generator progress and can only be repaired to 50% before confetti explodes out of it and it fades away. This generator is highlighted in a purple aura.

Imitation Generators cannot be affected with add-ons.

add-on changes:

Inner Soles: Pinpoints the area of where your bottle will land. (similar to plaid flannel)

Robin Feather: Lethal Odor now pops every 60 seconds. Gain a 300% bloodpoint increase to the Deviousness category. Bonus bloodpoints are awarded post-trial.

Parade Gloves: same as before.

Ether 5: same as before.

uncommon:

Cork Stopper: same as before.

Sticky Soda Bottle: Spawn with 1 extra balloon and bottle. Increased capacity to 13 and 6.

Starling Feather: Increases duration of Gas Clouds by .5 seconds.

Solvent Jug: Survivors hit by a Gas Cloud suffer the Exhausted status effect for 30 seconds.

Kerosene Can: Hitting a survivor directly with TAT will give you a Haste effect of 5% for 5 seconds.

rare:

VHS Porn: Survivors affected by a Gas Cloud will reveal their auras to you for 4 seconds.

Vial: same as before.

Flask of Bleach: same as before.

Ether 10: same as before.

Chloroform: same as before.

very rare:

Make-up kit: same as before.

Ether 15: same as before.

Cigar Box: Survivors affected by a Gas Cloud will reveal their auras to you for 6 seconds.

Cheap Gin Bottle: 2 bottles and balloons are added. Increased capacity by 2.

ultra rare:

Tattoo's Finger: In a chase, a balloon will pop each time a survivor enters a range of 16 meters of one.

Redhead's Finger: Survivors suffer the Exposed effect if directly hit by a bottle or in a Gas Cloud created by Lethal Odor.

perks:

Bamboozle: increase the vaulting speed to 20% across all tiers, 14/15/16 seconds for a vault to be blocked.

Coulrophobia: -50% penalty to healing speed within terror radius. Each time a survivor heals outside of your terror radius, their aura is revealed for 3/4/5 seconds and you are notified.

Once a survivor leaves your terror radius, this effect persists for 15 seconds (should be like this for all range perks)

Pop: same as before, it's in a good spot.

misc:

the devs should personally add a full circus/carnival themed map. i know nobody likes how FCC is 3/4 chapel and 1/4 carnival.

the clown should have circus music (edited of course) while in his terror radius and in a chase.

the clown's menu animation should be updated.

his hitbox should be reduced as it takes longer for him to turn corners, etc.

remove the sound effect that he emits while damaging an object or vaulting. it reveals his position to nearby survivors.
