Really glad BHVR wants to have a “play with the devs” event

It's funny to me that people argue about who's more OP (survivors or killers) when the Devs have the stats. Like really ppl 'come on you think they don't know what's going on in their game? 🙄0

Was the Korean event for the same purpose? At the event, McCote played a game against instablind flashlights and then shortly after, flashlights were nerfed (which included the removal of instablinds). That was something people had been wanting for a long time, which gives the impression that the devs didn’t know just how strong they were. The game ending in less than five minutes has been is another problem that has been in the game for a long time. It’s gotten to the point where you have to run Ruin, play Nurse, or get lucky. Again, it gives the impression that you guys (or at least the higher ups) do not realize how much of a problem this is. What I was hoping for from this event was that the devs that are at high positions would realize how bad it is to have all the gens be completed in less than five minutes and hopefully get a fix out either in the chapter 9 patch or the second mid-chapter patch.not_Queen said:Play with the Devs is just an opportunity to kick back and enjoy playing the game we are working on with the Community. This is not a competition nor it is a display of skills. Within the DEV team, as well as in the playerbase, we can see players with different skill levels.
If they did, then why did it take them so long to remove instablinds, pallet vacuums, and nerf BNPs? Why do games still end in less than five minutes and why did it take so long for them to start working on ways to nerf DS? Keep in mind that these things have all been problems for well over a year.slingshotsurvivor said:It's funny to me that people argue about who's more OP (survivors or killers) when the Devs have the stats. I mean, breaking the rules against a dev is a sure fire way to get permabanned.WhateverIGuess said:I honestly don't think it's a good idea, seeing how so many people have like next level hatred towards them, just because they got rekt in a video game.
-Moris every game
-Purple flashlights every game
-Sandbagging
-Revealing their position
-Keeping them hostage
...among other stuff.0 -
Play with the Dev's probably means playing with 3 Devs who are Rank 20 Skill level vs NotQueen to create the Illusion of pretty good job.

The official tournament was the best sign how unbalanced the game truely is because this happens when experienced players actually try hard.

Having the stats doesn't guarantee that they know how to read them. Remember when they said only 23% of all survivors use SC?slingshotsurvivor said:It's funny to me that people argue about who's more OP (survivors or killers) when the Devs have the stats. Not for nothing Queen, but “kick back and relax” is an open invitation for trolls to go ham on the dev team. My only hope is that there will be plenty of Survivor players will to show just how badly the Gen Rush meta needs to be addressed. I understand you guys are working on balancing all the time, and appreciate the effort, but what changes are being made are not addressing the core issue flaw of the game that the Gens are far too quick and easy to complete.not_Queen said:Play with the Devs is just an opportunity to kick back and enjoy playing the game we are working on with the Community.
