Give a discount for buying characters when you own all their perks

I am a bit annoyed they are making challenge's character specific, due to me already buying their perks from the shrine, as they said survivors are just for looks, so it saves money just to get their perks if you don't want to play the survivor. Had I known I was going to be forced to buy the character to complete challenges or do anything in the future with them... I could have saved those shards to buy the actual character. But now they will be wasted.... As I have to re-earn all the shards and then also a bit more to buy the character.

So, it would be nice for those that had bought the perks already. perhaps they could receive a discount. Please don't misconstrue this to be asking for a "free handout". It was spent towards the character. It's sort of the same as buying a set of clothes, it makes sense that for that specific set you can get a discount to finish buying the rest of it. At least that is how it is in another game, and that is a really nice feature to have honestly.

I.E. If you own only one perk, smaller discount... 2 perks slightly more. 3 perks a decent discount price. Something would be nice.

It is also similar to buying bundles on steam, if you own some of the game/DLC in the bundle you get a discounted price.
