Is it possible we could see a quick play matchmaking feature?

Have you guys considered adding g a quick play matchmaking type game mode? I would imagine it would be a lot like how Friday the 13th's matchmaking is where it just selects one of the 5 ppl in the lobby to play as the killer then you could have a minute to pick your killer/survivor. I just feel like this could really help put a balance on the amount killer/survivors and would make matchmaking a whole lot faster

The problem is, that there are many survivor players who do not play killer. And some of them never want to.

    This would force them to.

But yeah, I imagine they would need to make it two separate modes, for people who want to play it that way and others who want to pick their role first (the way it is now)

That's true but it would encourage them to learn how to play killer bc I'd rather play the game than wait 30min to find a lobby just for someone to DC or the match to get canceled in the loading screen

Also the other modes would still be there

I’m pretty sure this was already in the game before and it got removed

For this to work, they'd have to integrate quick play into the standard queues otherwise it would worsen matchmaking.

If it was integrated people playing this mdoe would actively improve matchmaking since they can be placed as whichever role is needed in order to make matches effectively, killer or survivor.

Yeah, it needs 2 separate modes. Because I guess there are some people out there who would refuse to play as killer and simply would DC to get into another match if they were chosen as killer.

Also this alternative would screw over with fair Matchmaking. Most people aren't equally skilled with both roles. Even those who play both sides

That sounds fun tbh, it could even include voice chat for a more casual gamemode
