Adding utilities to the wake up perk.
In the current state, the wake up perk is not a useful perk for most players, as it is only necessary in matches that opening the gate faster is decisive. The current effects are not bad, so new ones could be added, in case there are only one survivor left in the game.
They would be:
As the last survivor in the match, touching the door switch means that, when released, it continues to passively open at half the normal speed, up to a total of 60%, 70%, 80%.
Passive opening of the gate is paused if the killer is at a certain distance from the gate (Not so far, just to ensure that the gate is not opened while a nearby chase is taking place).
The effect can only be applied to one gate per match (so the player cannot apply the effect to both gates).
I believe that this could solve the cases where there is only one player left in the game and the killer closes the hatch, making patrolling the doors very easy. Sometimes both gates can be seen at the same time. It is very frustrating that sometimes a person is punished for entering a game that is unbalanced and ends up in a situation like the one described.
Merging these effects with the current ones and making this distinction between situations with more than one person alive and only one would be interesting, and would still require the survivor's ability to stay alive while the gate opens and requiring him to finish opening it.
I hope this idea is not too bad, and I would love to hear suggestions from other players as well.
Thx.
