What were they thinking with doctor rework?
Yes he was annoying before but now he’s just insufferable. Just played a round against him and it was not fun in the least. Also, is he faster now? Nobody could loop him as he caught up right away without any effort. I thought the whole nerf/rework patch was based on him being annoying? So they made him extra annoying or what?

I guess people aren't use to the doctor being 115 speed pretty much all the time
26 -
Yeah it was odd. I didn’t check his perks or add ons. I was last survivor and of course doors right next to each other.

Another post regarding Doc?
The fact that his power is good in chases is a good thing. Killers need to be viable in order for enough people to play them. I guess it does take time to get used to how to waste enough time from him while in chase. But he's certainly not op. He is much stronger though, but I for one highly enjoy going against Doctor, and think they did a fantastic job with his rework. He can just end chases fast enough reliably, to keep up with generators. He has counterplay, no matter how safe a loop is. That's exactly what killers need.
To be fair everyone will have certain things that they find to be annoying in this game. No killer will please every player. I for one really don't enjoy going against Hag. But she is definitely not op in my opinion.

Why do you people insist on complaining about everything?
23 -
It's ppo, look at his discussions
11 -
Yes do. I’m sorry I’m not a killer main who does nothing but insult and fight on here all day like most users. I’m genuinely asking about issues from a survivor side, and you can just deal with it basically.
2 -
Why do you hate killers, man? This rework is perfect. I love facing and playing as new Doc.
12 -
I play survivor 70% of the time. If you think killers need nerfs then you just want the game to die
19 -
Locker and calm spirit shut him down.
4 -
No I don’t. I just want it to be fun every once in a while. It’s not and since there is nothing else like it right now, I can either move on or deal with how crappy it is.

or you can git gud

It's funny watching survivor mains complain in a game that's heavily survivor favored, right after a patch that nerfed a widely used killer perk, all because you don't know how to play against a few changes on a killer?
Instead of even looking at your own things that you can improve on, you immediately call for a nerf. You're saying the whole game is not fun because you had a bad match? Sounds like a losing mindset. I'd much rather you go play something else lol don't need that rubbing off on people.
Or maybe try what everyone tells killers? Just git gud.
7 -
Games are much more killer-sided at red ranks.
9 -
😂 the devs give you that? They told me they weren't going to show their most recent data lol
11 -
Is this another anti-killer post from you again? You're always complaining about killers and how they need nerfed. Doc is in a very good position now. Just because a killer beats you doesn't mean they are OP or "annoying". Unless annoying is when you get outplayed/lose. Doc still has plenty of counters but he completely counters stealth play. If static blast is a problem for you then use a locker or Calm Spirit for safety. His ability to shut down loops is phenomenal. So waiting for him at a loop isn't a good idea. I don't know if you play killer or what rank survivor you are but playing both sides can give you much needed perception on how things look from both sides.
4 -
That graph doesn't really say much when it's hand drawn.
0 -
It doesn’t matter. I’ve seen enough people complaining that he will get nerfed.
1 -
Killer main obviously. Telling everyone to get good when you likely cried over ruin nerf. So typical and hypocritical in this community.
1 -
Doctor is in a pretty good place now.
5 -
I had a killer last night who complained that I used Kindred and Spinechill
3 -
That's the problem with people like you. You complain survivors have it so hard that you ruin it for everyone else.
8 -
Right now, Doc is the easiest killer with which to get Deviousness BP. If that gets messed up, I'm gonna hafta go back to standing around phasing as Spirit, and that's boring.
Survivors seem to be adapting to Doc, anyway. I've had matches where my Static Blast wasn't that effective because the survivors knew how to use lockers.
2 -
The game needs fun good killers (Doc is fun) and those people who constantly call for nerfs will be the downfall of the game.
4 -
He's actually more watered down and slightly tolerable now, believe it or not. It's just we aren't used to so many as few played him. He was and is my most hated to go against.
2 -
You can still loop him, I don’t struggle much to loop him.
2 -
Oh you dear baby survivor lol he's not getting nerfed 😂 just because you've seen other baby survivors complaining doesn't mean anything. He's actually one of the more balanced killers now. I think you should go back to playing peaceful mode on minecraft so that you'll be more within your skill range.
2 -
I love the doctor rework. Not only is he more fun to play against, he is more fun to play as. Now he requires a bit of strategy and perk management to use, but if you use him right he is super effective. It also requires more strategy to play against him too.
He jumped up a tier or two after the rework. Overall, great rework.
2 -
Having trouble against Mr Doctor? Spot him before he spots you. Make distance, wait for him to chase someone else, go in the opposite direction and do gens.
Doc chasing you? Run. Find pallet. Drop pallet. Run some more. Vault before he gets to you. Find another pallet. Rinse and repeat and hope your team aren’t a bunch of potatoes.
His AOE blast bother you? Hide in a locker. Use silencing perks like Iron Will or Calm Spirit.
Still having trouble? You’re bad. No hope. Uninstall is your best option.
5 -
Pre doc could keep you in tier 3 and you could only switch to tier 2. Pre doc was able to grab you in treatment mode as well. Consider this doc tolerable for survivors.
1 -
Aw is someone pressed? Wanting killer to stay easy? Or just projecting their own insecurity onto random people behind the safety of their computer? Either option makes you pathetic. Do better.
0 -
I'm a survivor main and honestly the doc isn't that bad to go against if you know what your doing. It has to be fun for both sides or there won't be a game.
1 -
Wow a killer that complained? It's usually the other way around
1 -
sorry to break it to you, but killer mains are the whiny part of this community. always crying if they don't get easy 4k every match
1 -
On PS4, I've never gotten a message from a killer complaining about anything... I get messages all the time from survivors complaining about stuff, though; apparently, it's important I know they didn't like my performance as a fellow survivor or as a killer.
Most I ever get from a killer is "Sorry, I didn't mean for you to die" or "gg."
4 -
Doc doesn’t have any mobility so at the moment he’s hardly threatening if you simply sit on gens. In chase, you just drop the pallet earlier and loop around it.
0 -
He was annoying because survivors felt the "passive" treatment mode gave the killers undeserved information.
The Blast requires the killer to have good guess of where survivors are sorta, but yes it is pretty ez to find people with it.
I also do agree the electric wave he does can be a bit bs, I was trying to loop a bit around a fence on a farm map, the killer kept blasting me but also somehow managed to keep up to the point that after 3 loops I was downed never having had the option to drop the pallet and this was with continues running so that was a bit off.
But im not ruling out the fact that maybe my movement was sub-optimal.
That said I think his rework is fine tbh.
0 -
Seriously? Another one of these? Doctor is strong, but not OP, which is 100% fine. We need more strong Killers, unless you want to keep seeing the same Killers over and over again.
- His base shock range sucks. You have to be really close in order for it to be effective. The only good add-on for his shock is the Moldy Electrode.
- Dropping the pallet early prevents him from using the stun effectively.
- If he misses his Static Blast, then he has to wait a full minute to get it back.
- Hiding in lockers, using Calm Spirit, or just getting out of his terror radius means that Static Blast won't affect you.
- Like with the rest of the Killer cast, hope that your teammates don't suck.
It seems like you don't like to adapt to different playstyles and just want to beat every Killer the same way. If you struggle to loop someone for five gens, then that's a problem and the Killer needs to be nerfed. You just need time to get used to the new Doctor. BHVR took an ok Killer who wasn't played super often and gave him some pretty good buffs, so now a lot more people are playing as him.
1 -
Ppo it seems like it's just your goal to strip killers down to the bone and construct a bandwagon of hate when a killer gets a desperately needed buff. Doctor is still nowhere near top tier and is very counterable. Wasn't Hex Ruin getting obliterated enough for survivor mains, at least for a little?
1 -
Doctor is super easy to counter even without calm spirit. Bait the shock and make sure you can loop if you can't pallet drop/ vault.
Or run head on with quick and quiet. He'll hate you
0 -
i was asurvivor main until recently with the new doc, so now play a bit of both. my experience has been survivors can still loop him for sure, and his shock therepy doesn't always reach the survivors.
as a doc good fun
as a survivor good fun
0 -
This 100%
0 -
He takes more skill now. You need to owe at least a braincell to find survivors. Also the only way I counter the doctor in loops is that I keep running. When he shocks me in circle like loops with a pallet he will probably keep shocking me making the loop last way too long.
Edit; spelling mistakes. Whoops

Well said!

it's different on console, where you need to add people to group. but on pc post game chat, it's easy to complain and insult people. and on these forums it's obvious that killers are the whiners.
0 -
Agreed
0 -
I have no insecurities lol I play both and get to red ranks on both consistently. That's why I actually know what I'm talking about. Also, I'm on a phone lol git gud son

The new Doc requires a lot of thinking ahead for survivors. I've played as him and against him a good bit lately and found him a bit difficult at first as a survivor. The big problem is that it requires survivors to think and plan, but many don't. You want to anticipate when he will likely use his spark, which you learn throughout the match. Be ready to jump in a locker, or get out of the TR. He is fast and can mess up loops with shocks. I had to change how I mind-gamed doc. Use more breaking line of sight and hoping spark was either not up, or he chose to save it. Drop pallets early, don't wait too long and go for the stun. A good Doc will make you regret it.
I like playing him, and I've started to enjoy playing against him. I admit, I have started running Calm Spirit a lot more!
1 -
Oh boy found the rank 15 survivor who thinks hes as good as a red rabk survivor
0 -
iv escaped against every doctor except 2 games, thats out of like 30? most of these games 2/3 people escaped, he requires more skill and knowledge how to beat him, hes stronger, he needed to be, its actually nice to see him get played for a change. keep playing and youll get better, or you can be one of those who DC whenever there is a slight challenge.
2 -
Dr has always been one of my favourite killers. When they mentioned rework, I immediately assumed he would get nurfed, as he was already a very strong killer. Now, he is phenomenal. Even when I play KYF with my mates, they hate playing against me with him.
He was always great as anti loop and tracking, now he is definitely stronger in both aspects. I think the extra buff was unnecessary, but i also understand that most killers here are quite bad at killing, so will be happy where he's at now.
If BHVR can do something similar with all the "mid and low tier" killers then the game will be in a much better state, for most killer players.
Against the Dr, there's options like lockers and dropping pallets a little earlier. Run away from his blast and dodge his shock. Don't be greedy on vaults and loops, you will do fine.
