It's just dumb to cater to new players, I mean my kid doesn't like to get up early but I doubt the school would change the start time to 11. And as far as the old ruin it did help killers it was a stall. It caused survivors to shift focus from gens to totems buying killers more time. It wasn't op it was just an inconvenience.

I agree. There /is/ a secondary objective, but it grants nothing but a small amount of bp unless there's an actual reason to do it.

i guess it depends on the tone you read it. if you want to hear it whiny, you will.
it was just my nod at the everything that the devs say about making the game more fun for survivors.

I would argue that the changes to Ruin are one of the best changes they've ever made and that current DBD is in one of the better states it has ever been in.
You have to cater to the masses not the top 1-5%. Otherwise you'll, pardon the pun, ruin your own game.
Just pretend old Ruin was never there & stop trying to compare new Ruin to old Ruin.
I think people sometimes have short term memory & forget how far this game has come. Or they haven't been playing it for a long time.
But, yeah, the forum is littered with people upset over any & every change, that won't ever change, regardless of what Behavior does. If they changed Ruin back, the forum would just be people complaining about them changing it back...

I would say that the ruin changes are not bad, but the devs ignored the main issue - gen speeds.
