An RTS style Killer

Now hear me out. I know you're thinking "But Dead by Daylight is a horror game!". Exactly, but I think that such a Killer is still possible.

Killer name: The Puppeteer

Killer Power: Strings of Malice, Entity Favour

Strings of Malice allows the Puppeteer to take control of one of his puppets. Think of it as going from "Bird's Eye View' to "First Person" as the Puppeteer starts chasing the survivors.

Entity Favour allows the Puppeteer to change the battlefield according to his plans.

Entity Favour allows the Puppeteer to change the realm that the trial takes place in. The Puppeteer can "rig" windows, pallets and doorways but only ten at a time much like Trapper and Hag.

The threatening gleam of a slick guillotine shining from above a window vault could be enough to instill fear and horror as well as give the survivor a small opportunity to make the right call. Perhaps a deathly tripwire in the middle of a door, or maybe a pallet slick with oil that shouldn't be vaulted over.

The Puppet is a simple "Man with machete"-style Killer. And the Puppet loses it's function once a survivor has been hooked. Should the Survivor manage to break out via any means, the Puppet will be given a second chance but this chance is limited to 60 seconds of time. The whole purpose of this puppet is to use the "plan" that the puppeteer set up for it and play it out.

All the puppets start in the basement. While the Puppeteer is using Entity favour he can order the Puppet to go to a specific area but it cannot attack survivors. Whenever a puppet has fulfilled its function, it will return to the basement. The Puppeteer can only have 4 puppets at a time and may only control one at any given moment.

When placing the puppets on the field, the Puppeteer may not place them within 24 meters of each other.

The whole idea behind this Killer is to give the developers something to play with. Puppets themselves could have different powers (or don't!) and looks whilst there could be a bunch of very different ways to make the traps in the level look. Puppets are the center piece here, they could look run down, pristine, maybe dilapidated or even made from bodies!

There's so many ways that this could press the "horror buttons" so to say. This can go anywhere from in-detail animations where a Puppet going to it's destination on its own will just make the survivors shiver down to what they could look like when a Survivor sneaks into the basement and they suddenly start moving.

I will admit that this is heavily inspired by "Five Nights at Freddy's" as I love the positions those animatronics sometimes have or how they move.
