Weekly Challenges?

So have been thinking this over for a while and this would be an easy way to keep players around and have them focus on a big picture goal.

Each week you get a challenge for either survivor or killer (obviously, with the exception of one that will be explained in a minute) for a decent amount of bloodpoints.

You have the option when you view the challenge to reroll once a week, BUT, each time you reroll, you will get a challenge for the opposite role. So say you have a weekly for a survivor, you can reroll and will get a killer one and visa versa. That way if you have a preference between survivor or killer, you can still stick with that role.

The challenges wouldn't be character specific, so you wouldn't have to do unhooks with Meg or down people with Hag. I'll just quickly list of some examples I was thinking of. I don't have exact numbers for any of these or what the bloodpoint reward allocated would be, but most are similar to dailies.

Survivors:

- Escape ___ trials

- Repair ___ generators

- Heal ___ health states of any survivor

Killers:

- Sacrifice ___ survivors

- Prevent ___ generators from being fully repaired (generators remaining)

- Hook ___ survivors in the basement

General (both roles):

- Play (for lack of a better word) ___ trials. DCing won't count

- Consume ___ offerings

Let me know what you guys think and I would love it if I could possibly hear something from any of the devs about this being a possibility. Apologies in advance if this has already been covered.

Cheers!

    I like the idea.

I mean, I like dailies, but only 1 daily a day really sucks. Which is why I was super happy when they announced the archives.. new challenges to do! Except they last 2-3 days if you play a bit too much..

Some mobile games have generic daily quests/challenges to unlock gems or whatever currency that game is using.. they could do it the same way too.. Every day, or week, there's a bunch of generic challenges with tiers to them and rewards according to which tier you reached..

Healing, repairing, cleansing, stunning, evading, surviving

    Hitting, chasing, damaging, sacrificing, killing

They could give meaningless bloodpoint rewards since they'd just be basic "play the game" rewards but they would increase with each tier you do, so first tier of Healing could be "Heal the equivalent of 2 health states" and then tier 2 could be 4, then 6 then 10, and double up the rewards with each new tier you reach.

But most importantly.. have them all available at the same time, not one at a time like the archives.

But still. I'm happy with how the archives work, Tome II is much better than Tome I was, more balanced.. Sure, easier, but the point is to reward different gameplay styles, not grief players for not being super good at the game and having to try the challenges forever to succeed.
