More Non-American characters
I hope this isn't too nitpicky, but I kinda wish that future survivors and killers won't be that often US-based as they are right now. I know this game is heavily inspired by original slasher movies, which is a genre that has it's origins within American culture. And that's totally fine.
But at this point 8 out of 13 Survivors are US-Americans. Well 4 of those are licenced. But still we have to keep in mind that those other 5 survivors just represent one nationality each.
On the killer side it's basicly much worser. Only Anna is completely based on a non-US-setting. Everybody else is based within the US.
I know we got a good variety of personalities and settings right now. But I would appreciate if we see more based on different cultures and themes. Especially if we consider that we might get a few more licenced chapters, which will most likely be US-based already. So a few chapters that are cultural different wouldn't hurt I think.

I can get behind this. We have enough USA characters and settings in every game ever made. Might be time to give us some new settings.

Meg Thomas, the girl who won a college scholarship based on her athleticism, is most likely from the USA. I don't know of any country that gives college scholarships for sports except the USA.

People crying about orgins now? Also, what is the nurse then? If the asylum connects nea and nurse. Could be some unamerican killers but as long as the origins are good. Usa is iconic for it, so live and let live.0

Usa is iconic for it, so live and let live. The market is saturated with USA-centric material. Every big city looks the same, every rural area looks the same. Maybe it's time to start drawing inspiration from the thousand year-old countries and traditions around the world instead of a country that hasn't even celebrated 200.

Usa is iconic and the best in the world, no wonder. I'm not saying they can't add a geisha killer (please do devs thanks) or a samurai but the maps n such has variety. Even other countries copy American movies n such so yeah, usa is the gold standard in many ways. Usa and japan.2

Usa and japan.I don't have neither the patience nor the time to objectively and mathematically demonstrate why the USA is not only not "the best in the world", but actually the worst developed country by almost every metric, so let's just agree that you're wrong. EDIT: And for the record, Japan isn't much better.

Besides we are not crying about origins. This thread is more some form of constructive criticism expressing the wish for doing other settings as well.

Word, be cool to add more settings, a castle or a cherry blossom villa in the moonlight. Not disagreeing. The way it was phrased seemed like a complaint in favor of variety. Also, usa has many cultures mixed into one country. You didn't propose anything, constructive things gives examples on how to do better.0

Unless i'm mistaken, NONE of them are 'American'.... I believe them to all be Canadian....

But I can see what they mean. I believe the US American’s are Kate, Laurie, Jake, Quinten and Tapp. Maybe Meg. (6) US Americans
Quinten and Claudette are Canadian. (2) North Americans
Ace is Argentinian. (1) South American
Feng is Chinese. Nea is Swedish. David is English. (3) Non Americans.
4 in total aren’t in North America. One from South America, One from Asia and two from Europe.
An Australian character could be neat, and I got family from Australia who would dig playing the character when they come over and hang out. Maybe they could do a Korean horror film monster and a character from the film? And it seems like we may get a Japanese monster and survivor possibly.
