Saboteur changes and Hooks.
This post is going to be about how the current state of saboteur and hooks and offerings that affect them.
The first point to bring up is right now asking four people to use petrified oak to spread out hooks is never going to happen and even if 1 person does it, it does very little to impact how easy it is for a killer to get a survivor onto a hook. The offering needs to either help saboteur by extending how long hooks are broken or reduce the number of hooks again now that hooks regenerate, especially since killers can still make hooks come back with hangman's trick in a short span of time. That perk also needs to have a cool down because it outright ruins saboteur and anyone who tries to come into the game with the plan of sabotaging hooks.
The next point to mention is saboteur needs to make hooks that are broken last longer. 180 seconds base with another 30 seconds on top of that and a reduced 50% action speed makes this perk lose most of it's effectiveness since that extra 30 seconds is how much time you spend roughly sabotaging a hook without a toolbox and let me tell you nobody is gonna follow me around giving me leader to make it faster, it doesn't happen. The timer for a broken hook when sabotaged should, in my opinion, be much longer than if a sacrifice is done on the hook. I think in this way it would balance out because killers wouldn't be crippled for doing the right thing but at the same time if a person spends time sabotaging, it doesn't end up being for naught either.
At the end of the day though it's up to the devs to decide what they want. I am merely suggesting changes so that it becomes viable but not game breaking and also doesn't detract from other survivors doing generators. Sabotaging should be fun and useful to a group and not setting them back as it does in its current state.
Thanks for reading.

I can see where you're coming from with this. Sabo-ing hooks really doesn't feel like you're doing much to hinder the killer because of how fast they regen now. The downside is, they regen this way now because of how broken and OP 4 Jakes running Sabo was in the early days, reducing the killers to just basement hooks for the majority of the match. Personally, since hooks can be sabo'd with toolboxes - I think the actual Sabo perk should be modified:
It should continue providing a longer time for hooks to be broken - but it should also prevent aura reading during sabo as long as you do not have a toolbox, as a direct counter to Hangman's (but not abused by toolbox increased sabo speeds) - in exchange for you running the perk and using an entire slot on it to begin with.
Right now, sabo'ing hooks is just a method to get a little bit extra Boldness bloodpoints.

Honestly, as one of the rare people who run Hangman's Trick, no. Also, Hangman's doesn't give aura reading, it gives a notification (but I get what you were saying)

Giving saboteur 80% speed without a toolbox would be a good start for testing.
