NOED change - how would you feel if..
- NOED was no longer applied to a totem
- Exposed status was no longer applied
- Two consecutive hits grants you the ability to kill that survivor by your hands
- Hitting another survivor cancels what was gained from the previous hit on the original survivor
- The ability to kill with your hands cannot be applied if the survivor was still injured once the last generator has been completed unless they are fully healed
- The ability may be used on more than one survivor as long as they were hit two times consecutively

At that point, I'd rather just run Rancor.

I wouldn't like it, I don't use NOED a lot, trying to get kills without it,but when I do I like that it is a risk vs reward on if they do totems or not. 50/50 if I will have it at end of game. Makes for some interesting end games.
1 -
No, do dull totems to avoid it. NOED counters gen rushing.
5 -
Good idea for a new killer perk
5 -
But the potential for Blood Warden plays..

Keep Noed please. I dont run it but I appreciate killers that do. I want the survivor hunting totems. That little bit of time goes a long way.
3 -
To be fair, I don't really like end game perks because they only do something during the end of the game. Rancor is a tiny exception because it gives you Survivor locations periodically (at the expense of the Obsession seeing your Aura periodically).

Have all totems lit up. People do totems and killer can pressure gens more while they're busy doing totems. If they still don't cleanse then they deserve it.
1 -
I hear you. I haven’t used it in builds in such a long time but from both sides it sounds more balanced.
we have all gone games where you and a friend are talking.. okay so I’ve done 3 totems, you’ve done 1.. surely one of the randoms got the last one.. haven’t been hooked all game, escapes every chase.. last gen pops and you die on your first hook at the end of the game..
I admit.. that scenario does fit the name of the perk quite nicely haha
1 -
I want a killer perk where you can carry 2 survivors at once.. you can’t hook them for 30 seconds and they can’t wiggle for 30 seconds. You can vault windows, break pallet, kick generators, lose the ability to hit other survivors while carrying 2 but you can kick them out of the way with your foot😂
Call it “One Man Army”

This seems more like you’re wanting this perk nerfed than just changed.
There is absolutely nothing wrong with NoED in its current state as with most of the killer perks.
1 -
I suppose it seems like a nerf but I honestly could care less about 4k’s..
I do like the idea of catching up to someone with adrenaline I was just chasing and doing a Mori.. if I have Rancor as well then it’s a bonus to find them too.
0 -
So a worse Rancor? #########
2 -
If all of your totems are gone.. it’s a superior NOED
0 -
How is it? You have to hit someone twice to down unlike Rancor and killing is less points than hooking. Here's how it would go you hit a survivor other bodyblock all escape
0 -
Lol the calls to nerf NOED are already happening.. how predictable.
0 -
NoED is far from a guarantee to a 4k. Most of the time I’ve used it, it secures 1 maybe 2 kills if they’re too altruistic. Others, the totems are cleansed and it never activates or they all escape thanks to BT countering NoED.
0 -
No, NOED is completely balanced and fine.
1 -
Here. Lighten the whole nerf mood that wasn’t intended lol
NOED ARMY
2 -
Noed doesn't need to be changed. Decisive Strike, Borrowed Time, Dead Hard, and Unbreakable does.
1 -
Post a thread for each, let's get constructive here man!
1 -
I would probably finally get jailed for troll posting 🤣
2 -
Oof 😂
2 -
Remove its current effect.
If a totem remains when the gates are powered, 3 random gens will reactivate. Gives the killer more time to make skilled plays rather than just free kills. It's essentially just making the survivors do 1 extra gen if they ignored totems.
1 -
Too much of a tunnel perk. The noed change needs to be fun for both sides personally I think it should be a hex perk that starts at the beginning of the game it increases your movement speed by 3/4/5% this allows for something to make up for the early game pressure lost when ruin was changed and gives survivors a reason to actually spend time cleansing totems
0 -
Then dont complain about anything else in this game.
0 -
lol no
1 -
NOED is fine where it's at. It's a high risk vs. high reward perk that can be prevented entirely from ever coming into play.
If you want to gut NOED, then DS and/or Adrenline needs to be gutted in kind.
1 -
Not to imply that I'm keen on the idea, but a perk which requires you to hit the same survivor twice, and requires that survivor to be healthy before you hit them is very far from a tunnel perk.
0 -
Huh? I don't catch your meaning.
0 -
what do you mean pick pig or ghost face and put on nurses and just sit undetectable until they heal
0 -
Makes sense ngl...waste 70 seconds on totems or have an extra 80 second gen to complete.
0 -
Dead Hard is easily countered. Unbreakable is one time use and all you have to do is just not slug. nuff said.
0 -
And you could get unlucky or lucky with those 3 random gens. It would essentially move totems into a required objective rather than optional.
1 -
just do bones
1 -
Yep...the sad thing is that it fixes the issues in the game like DS does, so I doubt the community's response would be positive.
1 -
So you are saying killers should never go for a 4K?
0 -
Well the thing I do dislike about it is that it would have that same issue DS has, which is that now every single game the players have to play around just the chance that the one single perk is being ran whether it is or not. I don't think that's healthy design.
Makes me wonder if we could change both those perks to something else entirely and make those effects in a "watered down" version in the base game, as they would both solve a core issue for both sides.
0 -
My thoughts exactly
0 -
Noed should only grant the exposed effect to those who have been hooked at least once during the trial before the gens are completed. That way the killer has to do something besides being a complete potato to get its full effect.
0 -
So you mean just let the other 3 escape whilst you do that?
Once they get the gate open or almost open after the first hit the sprint burst will carry you the rest of the way provided you know where it is.
If a player is so eager to get a kill that they're willing to do that, they may as well take rancor, it'd be better in every way.

We need noed

Exactly

You right and I use it

The way this proposed perk works you could do this at the start of the game and I know gens go fast but not that fast
0 -
As much as I like blood warden most survivors know to 99% a gate so they avoid it. It would be nice if leaving a gate switch regressed progress.
1 -
That's not bad
1 -
I took the fact that he didn"t say "Perk no longer activates when gates are powered" combined with "The ability to kill with your hands cannot be applied if the survivor was still injured once the last generator has been completed unless they are fully healed" to mean that the the fact that the perk activates when the gates are powered was left unchanged.
But if you interpret it to mean that the perk is always active then yeah, what you've said is completely valid. Moreso it would mean that potentially the first survivor you see is an insta-kill because, who would really switch targets that early if they had a perk like this, it would be mad OP.
Although if that were the case it still wouldn't really be a tunnel perk because you'd kill them before they even got hooked once.

Nah leave NOED alone
