Survivors should be more unique

Currently, survivors are all the same. They are basically skins. Would it be more fun to add a special effect for each survivor? E.g Claudette heals 10%faster. It doesn't have to be huge, just something that would make the game more interesting.

    I actually prefer survivors to be skins, because then I can play the ones I like visually rather than feel like I have to play the survivor with the "best" extra bonus. We'd see a lot less diversity 😥

    I was thinking survivors should have bonuses, but done in a way where you aren't forced to play the best survivor.

    You can pick a class: Aggressive, Support, or Passive.


    When you pick a class, you will receive a random, small bonus that compliments your playstyle.


    One of the bonuses for Aggressive could be something that allows you to vault pallets 10% faster than normal.

    One of the bonuses for Support could be something that allows you to heal survivors 20% faster when you're co-op healing.

    One of the bonuses for Passive could be something that increases skill check success zones by 10%.


    Just spitballing ideas, these could be bad ideas.

    I thought this game was casual?!? Now survivors want to go competitive, I thought the reason the devs nerfed the killers strongest items was because survivors weren't capable of competitive play...

    What would end up happening is everyone using survivor who run or vault faster (even if it is just 1%, it is huge) or who has smaller hitbox/model (basically the same effect, you make it arround loops faster).

    If you want more immersion you can just play like for adept achievements.

    @xEcoLog1cDuk3Xx you are speaking about players. Most of player base is not good enough for competetive play, while survivors as a side are clearly having the edge. Most of it is because of poor map designs but still. Wretched shop loop, Disturbed wall or multiple jungle gyms spawning near each other or near shack.

    It would be awesome if they had different animations though.

    Them just being skins is fine. What I don't like is that it is hard a lot of the time to actually get your original perks because of blood web RNG. There should be a higher chance of getting your original perks.
