This game isn't newb friendly at all
As the title suggest, this game is not friendly to new players at all. This game feels so imbalance that it makes me regret ever getting the game. And I got this game on sale for half price. Killers feel over powered and QTE are a horrible skill check system. There should be multiple ways to deal with killers and skill checks. Some perks feels more over powered then others. Other perks just feel like completely worthless. This game feels like it favors killers and survivors were afterthoughts. Killers are stupidly broken and the only way to lose as a killer is to deliberately let survivors win. My first few killer games, i did way better then my 20+ survivor game. This game doesn't feel fair, most games i go less then 5 minutes per game. "Just git gud" is not a valid response. Especially since this game is designed for players that have been playing since the beta. Pallets feels like you have to be in a certain sweet zone to use them. Some maps are horrendous to play on. Everything looks the same because of the color scheme. If i didnt have people to play with this game would be uninstalled and i would have less then 2 hours of playtime. The game feels cheap for survivors and broken for killers. This game is not balance and suffers from mechanics that are hard to pick up and requires hours upon hours of research just to "git gud" in. The tatorial fails to teach anything useful besides repairing generators. Map layout are all confusing for any new player. Getting killed over and over every game is disheartening and makes the game not fun at all. I play this game mostly with people i know but even then i feel cheated as map knowledge plays a huge part of this game. Perks that are broken, or feels broken, doesn't help at all either. A nurse running bbq n chill can justt warp, kill, warp, kill, warp, kill, warp, kill, win. Larger maps and less maps would help ease in newer players. Access to all survivors would ease in new players. Having everything locked behind a paywall for a retailed game is not a great way to make new players feel positive about this game. This game feels cheap in balancing issues, favors killers, and has an unbalance system for new players vs long term players. Bundle that with a predatory progression system and this game just feels like complete and utter #########. Its not fun to play. Progress is literally locked behind paywalls. The game is unbalance in favor of killers. There are no multiple play styles. I really want to like this game as i've had fun times with my buddies, but all of these issues just make me hate and loathe it.

Wall. Of. Text.
Please use some spaces in between smaller points like I'm doing here, as it saves reader's eyes and sanity.
As for your point of "Not newbie friendly", it's a case of "well, yeah." This is actually a game that you are going to have to devote time and practice in. Not everyone can just buy Street Fighter and suddenly compete in pro-tournaments.
A decent way to think of this is kind of, and I normally despise the analogy for almost all of it's uses, like Dark Souls. You bang your head against a brick wall until it cracks, take a break, recover from your concussion, and BANG IT AGAIN. That wall will break eventually.
If you are also stuck in the Brown/Low-Yellow ranks, then you are also going to run into the problem of the Toxic Trolls. Basically a myriad of Wraiths who hardcore camp and other killers who simply don't care and will seek to ruin your day. Once you get past rank 15, they mostly stop. And you won't de-rank that low anyway.
The tutorials teach you the MECHANICS of the game, not the other 75% of the game that is resource management, mind-games, stealth, running killers or any other little tech. The menu tutorials do give you a small idea though, but a lot of this game is trial and error.
In an age of hand-holding and linear pathing or mindless, hashed out multiplayer "sequals" it's actually refreshing to have a game that goes "Here's everything, figure it out yourself". Like a jigsaw puzzle.
The game changes drastically once you get out of the lower ranks. You just have to practice, experiment and find your preferred playstyle.

Most of the things you claim about the game are simply not true, and are just your inexperience talking. Yes, the game is unbalanced, but not for the reasons you mention. I'm sorry to be so unsympathetic, but "git gud", aka "the game has a steep learning curve and you need to work to improve your skills instead of assuming the game is the problem" is not only valid but really the only response one can give to this.
Some games are not friendly to new players. That doesn't make them objectively bad games. If you expect to be able to pick everything up easily and not have to work a lot at improving before you get even half decent at playing, I'm sorry to say it but maybe Dead By Daylight just isn't the game for you.

The best way to enjoy the game as a new player is to understand that you are supposed to die at some point in the match. You are playing the game to score points and level up your characters. Focus on stealth and not looping and pallets. Eventually you will start to get some escapes and it will feel exhilarating.
Keep at it and you will be flashlight clicking and teabagging in no time.
