Imma head out now, DC penalty is ridiculous
Yesterday I uninstalled DbD from Steam and will be moving on. I will not play a game that I am locked into with people playing like jerks. People were already toxic as all get out, and now that they know you are trapped with them it will only get way worse.
I generally play Survivor and if a killer if camping, tunneling and slugging the team I am going to leave. I am not going to bother playing with anyone who does not have the common decency to play the game.
Once Hex:Ruin was, well ruined, I feel these behaviors escalated considerably and now with DC bans, it is out of control.
Poor gameplay has never been addressed, nothing happens to people who are reported.
The only way I think a DC ban is in anyway fair is if it is only applied in the 1st 3 minutes of the game. To stop insta-DC from unpreferred killers and maps (Legion and The Game). But if I play a 20 minute match against a "super sweat", legit kobe and get tunneled I am out and do not deserve any penalty.
I am not going to bother with the aggrevation of being forced to play with As*ho*es.

Yes, you do deserve a penalty for intentionally quitting on four other people with whom you committed to playing a match.
Things do happen to people who are reported, as long as they're reported properly. Camping, tunneling and slugging are not against the rules.
I'm sorry you've decided DBD isn't for you, but I have to be honest - you're going to have a hard time finding another successful online game where you won't get punished for abandoning matches and where no one ever does anything toxic or unsportsmanlike.

Yes, committed. That's what you're doing when you click the "Ready" button. You're telling all the other players, "let's play a game of Dead By Daylight together", just like if you said to a bunch of your friends in real life, "let's play a game of Monopoly together". You don't get to just quit if things don't go your way after that point. That's rude and selfish, and should be called out in both cases.

Trust me, if you disconnect frequently everyone is glad you're gone.

+1 (still dont understand how people complain about something basic for every multiplayer games as dc penalty...)

Pft even on the PS4 there's toxic players. :P survivors and killers. I still DC and don't give a hell. X'D

So you quit playing the game.. because now you have to play the game.. whereas before, you'd just stop playing whenever you felt like it.. and you feel like that's the devs' and/or oppenents' fault?
Have fun in your future pursuits. This community is not going to miss you.

Well even if there is a dc penalty it honestly doesnt matter, survivors can just kill themselves on hook and its basically the same as a dc. If someone traps you in a corner just wait patiently for a neighborhood killer to down you and place u on a hook and the bam, just accelerate the sacrifice process, easy.
