Distortion seems to be a fine perk to use, but i think a rework would not hurt it.(More like a tweak)


Currently you have 3 tokens with 8 seconds of duration against an aura reading.


That is all good and everything until we consider that aura readings like myers's mirror, easily bypass this and even consume all 3 of your tokens, bitter murmur's EGC aura is shown for 10 secs which consumes 2 tokens.


Here is the idea for rework:

Works in same principle, but added:

-No longer is disabled by getting downed or trapped.

-Everytime your aura is seen by the same mechanism the followings will be added:

1st time seen: Nothing

2nd time seen: The duration of distortion is increased to 180 seconds.(Only against that specific aura reading ability)

3rd time seen: Distortion will give permament aura reading immunity to everyone as long as you are within 24 meters of the killer.(Only against that specific aura reading ability)


Examples:

1st time seen by trapper trap: Nothing

2nd time seen: your aura is not revealed in traps for 180 more seconds.

3rd time seen: (For that to activate the 180 sec duration must've passed, otherwise distortion would activate normally) Your aura will not be seen in traps, if killer was in 24 meter radius of you. Also trapper cannot see the aura of trapped survivors as long as you are within 24 meters of him.

Example 2:

1st time seen by trapper trap: Nothing

2nd time seen: your aura is not revealed in traps for 180 more seconds.

3rd time seen by another aura reading: Nothing happens.


If not as an idea for distortion's kinda-rework, this is still a viable/interesting idea for another perk possibly.
