"GG, EZ" is BM, isnt it?

I mean, the person means: "i had a good game, you are easy to play against, noob", or something like that.

Am I wrong to think this is a "soft offense"? Or just an very umpolite behaviour?

Soft offense, impolite behavior. We're splitting hairs, basically. Saying that someone is easy to play against is in bad taste. Especially when coupled with gg, which implies that the good games are easy games. So, it doubly reflects badly on the person who types that, because they like to win easily. In the end, it's an online casual game, so don't expect people to act maturely.

I mean, just look at this forum to get an idea of that.

It's rude, but it's not crossing the line into something we would ban for.

If the day ever comes where BM or saying something like "EZ" is bannable in games, it would be the beginning of some Dark times

imagine MW2, or any game without the toxicity, its not the same

That would never happen, if the BMing becomes borderline harassment in and out of the match, than yes it's something that'll be taken seriously.

If it's just T-Bagging or saying "EZ" in-game than no, it's not something that'll ever be bannable. It's rude yes, but it isn't anything that's grounds for a ban.

Yeah, i agree, its not bannable. I just wanted to make clear this is very BM, as much as im not very deep into game expressions, except for the basic ones.

But once I reported a person for saying that in PS Network, the first time someone said me that. As I aways say "offense reported" (and nothing more) before reporting, he argued it was not an offense. I reported anyway, but then I started to ask myself if that was only a rude thing, deserving only a block, not a report.

And now I know exactly what it is, tks you all. :D

    Understandable.

Usually when reporting someone it's best to know what's bannable, reportable, etc. If you'd like to learn more about this stuff, than I can link you the Game Rules post below to educate yourself on the matter.

Here's the link to the game rules post

If you come across anything you're uncertain about, than just go back to this post. If the post is unclear on something specific, like this scenario, than use your best judgement before going through the hassle of reporting them.

    Tks, @FireHazard.

As much as i play in ps4, the offenses on chat are handled by PS Network rules, and im pretty sure that reporting had no consequences for him.

    I have 3 rules:

1 - complain but be polite, i will explain things and why i did something, and we will be friends

2 - be rude, and i dont answer, block the person and leave the chat (this is the "GG EZ" situation)

3 - be offensive and/or agressive and i say "offense reported", report (meanwhile they use to throw more offenses cause i said i reported), block and leave the chat

And there is the fourth situation:

4 - be friendly and we will be friends!!! My preferred one and the reason i dont block everybody from sending messages, cause there are a lot of good ppl out there. :D

I wouldn't really say that you reported them, that just ensues more harassment as a result.

It's best to just report what you believe to be reportable (upon reviewing the Game Rules) and move on, telling them they're reported doesn't really add anything, if anything it's instigating them to continue.

I may be reading this wrong lol but when a killer really outplays me I'll write him gg "good game" no disrespect. Or we win but killer kept it close same thing. When I run killer, if a survivor outplays me or it's a good match I say gg. Does that mean something else

    Not... really?

Saying GG is universally a sign of respect in most games, or it's just to be polite. When players say "GG EZ" they're playing off of that universal sign to twist it to something else, hence why it's seen as rude.

In this game, saying GG is especially common now and has become a staple of Post-Chat in DBD. So saying GG when you win or lose is just to be respectful in the end. Some players might take it as "acting smug" but that's left to interpretation at that point, which is where some fights start.

Indeed. Even more, i can be a better person by not telling i reported. Tks for these words.
