how to kill with hand using rancor on ps4? is it the same as shape where you have to be real close and lightly press attack button? also is rancor counted as a toxic perk?

Once the Exit Gates have been powered (all 5 gens done, closing hatch doesnt trigger Rancor), find your Obsession and down them. They will be Exposed and mori-able. Hold the attack button on top of the Obsession to start the Kill action.

Your obsession can be indicated in a chase by the claws moving around on the player list HUD. If you're chasing them, the claws on them will start to move.

Michael Myers is unique in that he can kill healthy or injured survivors. With Rancor, they need to be in the Dying State, and then you approach them and hold down the attack button, the same way as you would if you were using a Mori. You can only do this to the Obsession, and only after the last generator has been completed. It won't work if the gates are powered by closing the hatch.

It's also worth noting, as far as the challenge is concerned, that you don't actually have to use Rancor to kill them, you just have to have it equipped. You can use Devour Hope, or a Mori if you want to - anything that lets you "kill by your hand".

As for your second question, no perk is toxic in itself, and anyone who says otherwise is silly. Sometimes people mistake "surprising" for "toxic", but Rancor isn't even that, since the Obsession gets to see your aura whenever a generator is completed, so they know it's coming.

No, it's just the same as using a regular mori with the same prompt, the conditions are just different and that's about it.

Rancor allows you to down the Obsession once all Generators are activated. If they're the last Survivor with 1 Generator remaining than they still can't be mori'ed until all Generators are complete. Once this condition is met, Rancor gives the Obsession the Exposed Status Effect, the option to Mori them, and one last 3 second aura reading on every Survivor is given.

Michael Myers Tomb-Stone Mori is completely different, it lets you mori Survivors that're health or injured. If they're downed than they can't be mori'ed and you also need to chase and hold M1 once the "Kill" prompt shows up when close enough. His mori is completely different from Rancors or any other Mori, in that it's specifically tied to his power when the add-on is added.
