Dead by Daylight should no longer be affected by an outage. Players logging into the game between September 26 3PM ET and September 28th 3PM ET will receive 1M Bloodpoints as compensation.
Taking a hit for speared survivors does not count as a protection hit

Issue: If a survivor is speared by the Deathslinger and you take a hit for the speared survivor it does not count as a protection hit. This was proven to me as I didn't gain a token for Mettle of Man.
Reproduction: Take a hit for a speared survivor and see if the notification shows/ if Mettle of Man gains a token.
