New Killer Idea: The Pirate (and Parrot)
I mentioned this on another thread and I think I’m onto something.
New Killer: The Pirate (and Parrot)
Power: The Hook on his hand can be used to complete the sacrifice if a caught survivor would already have reached the struggle stage.
Add ons:
Eyepatch – Terror Radius is increased by 100% but field of view is reduced to 50%
Shovel – Chests are partially buried and take longer to open and search.
Piece of Booty – Double XP awarded for hooking female survivors
Golden Parrot – Whenever a chest is opened the parrot squawks ‘Pieces of 8’ and the chest aura is briefly revealed
Blue Parrot – Whenever a male survivor is with 32m the parrot squawks ‘Who’s a pretty boy then’
The Plank – Once a match the pirate can form a makeshift hook at a location of his choosing.
Sea-mist reagent – Only obscures view for the survivors
Bottle of rum – movement speed is increased but time to recover from a missed attack is also increased tremendously.

Ok... here we go
Power...
Okay I hate to say it but that ability is very lackluster. It's interesting that you can kill a Survivor out right about the use of a offering or devoured hope but here's where the problem lies. That power doesn't really do anything for him outside of doing that. You would literally be a Trapper with no traps. That's saying a lot because the Trapper has a lot of utility with his ability with all the new add-on reworks. What you're going to need to do is give him something else to work to work with.
Addons...
O_o
Okay add-ons are supposed to alter The Killers powers in one form or another. However your add-ons don't do anything of the such. The be honest some of them come off like we do your perks and the others come off has useless in certain situations.
Point being you're going to have to give him a different power in something that is useful. Is either going to be good for the chase or be good for tracking since he's a pirate I would expect either or.

You are right I have confused my add-ons and perks. Ill take that on-board.
Btw I deliberately pitched the pirate at low / mid tier as more likely to be accepted by the devs.

Also just to clarify the hook is completing the sacrifice not doing a mori.

i was also thinking about a pirate killer, but i would focus on the chests harder instead of his hook hand.
- perk: showing the auras of all chests on the map and signals when a survivor starts searching within x/y/z meters.
- perk: HEX: searching chests makes survivors injured for the first 1/2/3 chests searched.
- perk: OBSESSION perk: when chasing the obsession, your field of view gets x/y/z% narrower than usual but your movementspeed increases for the duration of the chase by x%
(you know, because you are obsessed with a survivor, focusing on it).
Power:
Using compass: pulling out a compass, which calibrates for x seconds and then showing in the direction of the closest survivor within x meter range (or showing the aura) for x seconds. The pirate cannot move withle calibrating.
(for example he uses his power, standin and calibrating for 3 seconds and then he can see where the next survivor in his terror radius is for 2-4 seconds.Mori sequence:
Ramming your hook hand in a survivor (which makes it summon the entity on the survivor ... because it is a hook), then realizing the entity would take your victim, drawing your sabre and cutting the throat.
(because moris are kills made by killers themselves, thus the killer would intrigue against the entity)tell me what you think of it. I would love to see a killer like this or any kinds or similar perks or powers.
