The spirit Question

When you're moving and you tap your power while moving do you passive phase? Like not holding just tapping it considering it doesn't stop you if u tap it. I've been curious about it

You don't control the passive phase, it just happens

The passive phase is the same thing as the Pig's RBTs. You never know when it helps because it uses the "roll the dice" technic.

The passive phasing is just a random animation that plays while she's moving. That's why she has add-ons that increase its frequency, because she herself doesn't directly control it (or even know when it's happening).

As said above, you can't control the "passive phasing", that's a separate mechanic that activates on it's own.

All "Passive Phasing" does is make The Spirits character randomly move sporadically during a chase. This makes it harder to discern where she's going to move next or where she's looking in-general (if you're not paying attention to her red light). The Spirit themselves does not know that the passive phasing is happening, it only occurs to the Survivor on their screen.

You can use add-ons like Juniper Bonsai and Dried Cherry Blossom to decrease the time it takes for your passive phase to occur. Juniper Bonsai Slighly decreases the Passive Phase cool-down by -1 seconds, while Dried Cherry Blossom also Slightly decreases the Passive Phas cool-down by another -1 seconds + an additional +0.75 second increase to it's duration.

Passive Phasing in-general can happen randomly, so there's no set time for when it occurs in and out of a chase, the add-ons just make that time shorter and shorter.
