Play with Steam and Microsoft friends

how can i play with a friend that has the game in Microsoft Store?

im on steam, and i know we have cross-play, but we want to play SWF, can it be possible?

    I'm afraid this isn't possible yet since the in-game friends list on Steam only contains your Steam friends, on Microsoft Store your Microsoft Store friends. Currently, you and your friends have to be on the same platform to play SWF together.

    Probably, in the future, this option will be added since the Devs are working on it.

    You can SWFs with Microsoft players on Xbox, but that requires a lot of hoops to be jumped through to make that work. Even I don't know the full details of how you can do it, but apparently you can.

    So no, as said above it's not an option at this time i'm afraid. Cross-Play is still in it's infancy for DBD, so we won't know when some updates to it will occur.
