Driver's License addon from Ghostface not working properly

I rarely use these types of purple addons, but I remember when I used this one that the range became pretty near to be able to take ghostface from his power. I was standing almost a the end of the little mount with hook and the person was at the corner of Shack (at least 30m away or more, almost at the limit of the range of Hag's traps for instance 40m) and the person was able to take me out of the shroud.
I didnt see almost any difference using the addon from when I dont use it.
