this a bug?
sometime in the last week when i use rusty shacles with grandma's heart it will always take me to the new hospital map. over two days i took these addons at least 6 or 7 times in a row?
l am trying to do the adept and i'm finding this map extremely hard!
is this a bug?
can someone check it out please cos i don't want to waste my last couple of addons :(

It happens, sometimes you get the same Map over and over again, it's just the RNG factor of the game. It's not a bug. You can throw a Map Offering the next game to assure you won't get Léry's if you want to.

I've never heard of an add-on combo deciding what maps you'll spawn in with, probably because that's not a thing...
As said above, you're just getting extremely unlucky with your map RNG, that's all there's to it. Map RNG is 100% random, unless you use an offering than any map could be selected during the Pre-Match loading screen. Sometimes a map shows up more when a new DLC is out, but that isn't 100% confirmed to be true...
If you want a specific map to use your combo with, than you'll either need to hope you get it OR use a map offering to get a 100% guaranteed spawn (if nobody else throws a map offering in the pool).

It's not a bug, you're just getting lucky/unlucky. I played with this Add-on combo last week and got Haddonfield.
I'm pretty sure there is no such thing as a set of Add-ons determining the Map you'll play on, even as a bug.

so what if it happened again and again and again? and don't see how it would be random if it did it again? if a dealer at a casino kept giving out the same winning card to one person that many times or more, would they say that was still random? 😃

i'll take your word for it then! i don't understand what rng stands for and i just can't get my head around it. if it's random, the odds are really high for this random to be landing the same place over and over again, hahaha!
i'm scared to use them again cos i'm actully trying to do the adept :(

RNG stands for Random Number Generation. It's like throwing a die. If you throw a die ten times, it's highly unlikely that you'll get a 1 every time, but it is technically possible. That's what people are saying happened here with you getting the same map many times in a row - it's just a chance anomaly.

As said above, whenever a system applies "RNG" to the table it's using a Random Number Generator. In a more basic explanation from above, it's a randomized system that determines your chances of getting a certain item, skin, whatever in-game.
That's why we keep saying "It's all up to RNG", we're basically telling you that it's 100% random. There is no guarantee for what might happen.
