Rework of the survivors.
I´m moreless recent DBD player, and I have been getting a lot of information about the game and I have observed that there comes a time when the people who put in a lot of hours lose the desire to play basically because if you get a single build of perks that you can use with all the survivors, it makes the image of the survivor down to a simple skin, I think that if the survivors were made to have unique pasives, their own would be a success on the part of the company and would make the game look completely different, as well as being able to choose which is your favorite and unique character, one of the examples would be, in the case of Clodette Morell, that botanical knowledge was her only passive, more than she could add 2 or 3 perks that you want with her and being able to add an object with 1 or 2 accessories like now, the change from the previous would be to have a unique perk of that survivor and 3 teachable perks.

Why i dislike the idea of passives in dbd:
- It creates meta survivors (with already meta killers) when there already so much balance issues
- It could make my favourite survivor "bad"
- people might dodge if they are with/facing a specific group of survivors.

It wouldnt be bad if they made it so that only one character could be played in a match. So no 2 claudettes etc.
Tho it would require alot of perk reworks, and making passive perks or perks in general for survivors.

Then what'd happen if two people were level 50 Claudettes but level 1 on everything else?

Then one of them would have to play lvl 1 at random.
Its not perfect but it would actually make survivors unique.

I do like it, adding on to it. The perks would be the same but weaker for everyone that isnt said character. There should be a true passive like for example David does something better while injured. And maybe we could add another objective too or maybe an alternative game mode. I'd love a pvp hollowed survivor gamemode or a infection gamemode

Please do a rework on Quentin maybe better perks but please for the love of god redo his face he looks nothing like he does in the movie💀

What bothers me right now is that the game behaves as the survivors are different from each other like: dailies where you have to play that specific survivor, archive's missions like dailies, difficulty measurements (if it is for the perks then what measures on killers), them all having their own inventory. I think adding uniqueness to survivors wouldn't be that much of a problem with balance especially with the maps now being fixed.

Adding uniqueness to Survivors would've been a fine idea if this game hadn't launched nearly four years ago.
How many mains would drop their favourite Survivor, probably one they paid money for, because now they're stuck with an ability they don't like? How many lobbies are going to be clonefests of whichever Survivor's Perk is strongest?

It makes a difference to you, because you will also have to wait until the Lobby is full.
