People keep saying to “110% killers” it’s an infinite when they really mean it’s an infinite for Huntress.

Hag and Spirit are 110% but they can obviously deal with these loops easily.

Deathslinger has instant ADS and survivors will lose distance constantly dodging because they don’t know whether he is going to shoot or not. He’s basically a Huntress with a fully wound up hatchet.

Huntress is the only killer that suffers hard on these loops.

Because there are so many issues still in this game that haven't been patched out. No one seems to talk about how shockingly optimised it is. I have a respectable (not insane) PC that can run fallout 4 quite well on alright settings but dead by daylight (a game with much smaller maps that don't look as nice) runs much worse. And fallout 4 is known for how unoptimised it is, compare it with something like Doom eternal and it pales in comparison. This isn't the only thing wrong with the game though, there are so much but they always focus on new killers and survivors we don't need to make a quick buck off DLC rather than fixing the many issues the game has

    Well better late than never.

Hopefully now the full map will be utilised rather than having 90% of that game revolve around that one building.

i got a called a tunneler yesterday because of this: 2 survivors left in match, 1 injured 1 healthy.. they were running together.. I went for the injured person and downed him.

post match "THE TUNNEL IS REAL" -- ok

on topic: god loops by definition should not exist

    This!

Us killer mains have had it great lately. Ruin is better than before and has more synergy perks for any killer complaining about that.

I've been a killer main long enough to remember double pallets at every loop, as well as vacuum pallets. As soon as those got changed, and then DS got changed... This became a killers game.

I personally think that any killer main complaining about the state of the game, hasn't been playing long enough to know how good we have it. 😂

I've played since 2016 and i get as much kills as back then. Difference is that survivors sweat today much more. In 2016 chases took much longer but it wasn't unordinary that first gen took 3 minutes to pop. But yeah devs have definitely reduced stress from the killers side because it's generally harder to bully killer. I still think that is good change because survivors who knew how to abuse that window could cost you the entire game. It should be called either god loop or semi infinite

It's always so evident which people never play both sides..

Well well, I see how this goes. Killers complain about a so called God loop because they have no skill and the Devs remove it. Survivors vault a window and take 3 steps and a killer still hits them, but no changes on that. Devs want killers to win, cool I got it. And before anyone thinks I'm salty by this, I'm terrible at looping. I'm just calling it how I see it.

As an ex toxic survivor and current killer main, I can confirm, there is a lot of complaining from both sides. However, there is more from the survivors because there are more of them (just my guess). I actually don't mind this loop being changed and I wouldn't mind if it wasn't changed either, i've never had problems with this loop somehow

Killers call survivors toxic and whiny. Survivors call killers toxic and whiny. Both can be bad as the other. The fact of the matter is that "god" loops and "infinite" have been a use able factor in the game since its rise in popularity and whether survivors agree or cry, they are a bit on the strong side. There is a reason that high mobility and insta downs are meta. So you can't get to another loop and repeat the process. On the other hand, now survivors will have to create a new play-style and way of duking killers so i guess there will need to be a buff somewhere if they mass-remove the good loops. With survivors and killers being so equally toxic, bE can't win here. They're just making adjustments based on what they think will balance their game, and tbh they should do this more. Listening to the community is important, but don't balance it around your community. If you're a survivor or killer main, imagine the saltiest of the other was aloud to change the game for a week. Think about it.

Really? Thats what you feel. "Hmmm something that helps the killer catch survvivors faster without getting looped alot.MUST BE A BAND-AID FIX" seriously you are so bias that somethjng that helps you catch surrvivors thats not only on good loops and you call that a band-aid fix it ridiculous how much you want. Let me guess you also want pallets gone and all killers weapons should be one hut downs. Right?

It's going to be fun walking to the ironworks factory at the start of a match to break a wall that shouldn't be there in the first place, while already losing 1-2 generators at the start of the match. Sigh, but at least it's gone? Not like Killer is ever going to get a big impacting buff change like survivors do anyways.

Oh wait but "it's only 2 and a half seconds to break a wall". If you don't take into consideration the time it takes to go to that wall to break it.

Right. I'm sorry. "You can just break it when it's convient". If you don't take into consideration that every second of the game is crucial to the killer winning or losing, and one mistake also costs you the entire match.

Well, it's about the same story here. I remember having to sweat a lot more for kills. I remember that window leading to a jungle gym, with a 2 pallet loop right next to it.

It was absolutely ridiculous back then. Oh, and then the glitch getting stuck inside pallets when a survivor stunned ya... Jeez. It's gotten soooo much easier.

    So much better.

I'll have you know that I'm both a Spirit and a Nurse main, so you decide how loops affect me.

What do you mean killer didnt get any big impacting buffs. Are you saying the exaustion change wasent big? Or the removel of double pallets? toolboxes and insta heals? Those we're survivor nerfs that benefited killers now as for killer buffs. What about bloodlust? Freddy and doc changes? Adding window blocker? Egc?

@toxicnancymain And how sure are we that it is not a joke? Look at that window, they just copied it and put it aside.

All I can hope is the devs don't go overboard and give survivors nothing.

  • Murd3rousClyd3
    Murd3rousClyd3 Member Posts: 71

Yeah, but how many survivors on your average team know how to abuse that window without making mistakes? 1? 2?

I've found that if they make it through twice without being hit, I'll peel off, hook another survivor, put pressure on, and use this time to pull the good runner out of their safety net.

It works MOST of the time.

The biggest mistake I make seems to be chasing one person for too long. I've made a 30 second rule... If I haven't at least hit then in 30 seconds, I peel off and patrol gens.

  • Callmehandsome
    Callmehandsome Member Posts: 529

Trust me i know how to play killer. But the thing is with that window is far too easy to use, it doesn't take much brain power to run loops araund it. And more skilled survivors can absolutely wipe the floor with you if you dedicate your time chasing them araund it, they combo using that window and close by safe pallets, jungle gyms and repeat that. So anytime you see skilled survivor runs towards that window you have to drop the chase, otherwise it can cost you several gens or the whole game. So it becomes very frustrating experience always dropping the chase, wasting time to find new survivor, chasing and if they also end up abusing that god window. It's good it's toned down

in the end, I'm just gonna make the smartass comment on how they didn't fix ironworks at all, making it a legit infinite.

annnnnd... I called it. The loop is still and infinite and the door is useless.
