disconnection penalties: edge case

so, i got a 5 min DC penalty for disconnecting. pretty normal so far. but here's the issue: i was the last survivor alive, hatch closed, doors closed, and the killer, as a doctor, decided to follow me and shock me instead of ending the game. i didn't want to have to deal with that AT ALL and ended the game the fast way.

i don't believe that the last survivor alive should get a DC penalty for any reason, because i don't believe they handicap anyone in the game by leaving, since the killer gets compensated for DCing survivors already.

You still DC'd without good reason imo. Yes, it would be very annoying to have someone do that, but it's for 3 minutes. You could have just left the game for that amount of time and come back to the results screen. So really, there's zero excuse to complain you received a timeout for DC'ing.

If he followed you and shocked you (most likely for BPs), it will take a maximum of 2 minutes to end the game. If you are slugged, a maximum of 4 minutes.

If you DC because of that, you deserverd your penalty.

    Bruh moment.

Alright, jokes aside, it's just a meme thing to do, and Doc just probably wants to play around and most likely feels bad for you. Would you rather have meme Doc or a rank 1 Billy main who's been playing consistently since 2017 and decides to slug everyone 2 minutes into the game?

I shock the last survivor a lot just as a joke in all honesty, I don't even hit em. Instead of DC'ing, just keep running. You'll get more points and progress for your evader emblem since it'll be a decently lengthed chase and you won't suffer the lost chase penalty from being hit.

Next time alt-tab and watch youtube. Easiest solution. The EGC is still shorter than the DC penalty.
